For the movie car comparison, I'd have Herbie. If it was just the cars as cars and not as movie cars, I'd have the Plymouth.

For the above comparison, I'd have the Ford because Ferd. And the Corvair isn't really a looker in van form.

I'd take the Chevy. The Fords were reliable as hell, but a bit underpowered. I also like the way the Chevy looks much better. If I was going to take an Econoline, it would have to be the truck version.
 
I'm almost positive they were originally Shelby built but I could be wrong.

Build quality. I love JDM, but quality does not come with them. If there was a Mazda at the auction, and it had the same mileage as my Ranger, I would've still picked the Ranger.
