Would you rather?

Let's see...

Morgan vs. Can-Am: I'd much rather go with the classic Morgan. It's a bit quirky, but it's definitely more of a car than that... thing is. It also kinda reminds me of a Spitfire warbird

RX-7 vs. Civic: I'll take the FD all day, every day.

NA Miata vs. S2000: How would you get a brand new NA? They're almost twenty years old, by now. But I'd take the AP1, either way.

SW20 vs. S14: Well, that's a bit more difficult. But I'd take the MR2, if it's the Turbo.

I thought it was supposed to be new vs old but anyway I'll go with the S14.

I'd go with the Jeep.

I'll take the S2000 (hopefully not with high mileage).

240SX over the MR2 easily for me. Big fan of 240s.

I'll go with the Defender, it looks massive!

Mazda Miata NA vs. Honda S2000 AP2 - Miata, because 90s Japanese Roaster.

Toyota MR2 '95 vs. Nissan 240SX (S14) - 240. I don't like the MR2.

1945 Willlys MB vs. 2012 Land Rover Defender - ...... '45 American vs. '12 UK? Willys = breakdowns. UK please...

Toyota MR2 SW20 vs. Nissan 240SX S14: Tough choice, but the MR2 wins hands down. Because MR and 3S-GTE! :D

Willys Jeep vs. Defender: Ugh, another one?! I'll take the Jeep since it's a WW2 classic.

-> Hmm...

^ Both have 6-speed manual, no SMG crap!

Didn't we already have this comparison?

BMW M3; it's faster, more practical and just a great all rounder. That's said the S2000 is a great car, but the BMW is just better IMO.

What year is the Audi - if it's a recent one - I think you mean the A5?
Oh, and the comparison is supposed to be a new car against a used car with a similar value.

Oh right... :dunce: Hmm, I could mean the A5, but I'm sure there's an A4?

Rounded Cavalier and a box Caprice without those wheels...

Why the rounded Cavalier? Because I love it so much... When it's smashed into tiny pieces. :sly:

Holy mother of god, none of them! Why? Because they are all insipid boxes of dull averageness that were poorly made and poorly engineered in their time, and are rubbish now.

M3 vs. A4 or A5 or whatever: The M3. Different class of car altogether. Audi's RS models would be more in line with BMW's M cars.

Strange, ugly American cars: None, thanks. I'll walk instead.

Anyways. Something a bit more in line with the intended purpose:

2007 Jaguar XJ8 4.2 (40,000 miles on it, about 26,000€, had almost all options ticked when it was bought. You'll also have about 2,000 bucks left in case something goes wrong)

vs.

BMW 316i (F30, new, about 28,000€, base trim)

I usually like BMWs, and the 316 would, in the long run, be the more economical and more practical choice. But damn, who could resist that V8 with almost 300HP and those looks? I'll have to take the sexy Jagsy.
