Ford raptor: Pretty hard choice but the raptor would be my first choice. I would take the ram anytime tho.

Honda S2000: I love Honda S2K so it was pretty obvious for me.

^i saw that ram runner vs raptor vid.... Was it a magazine? Well, the raptor won everything, but driving on bumpy sand (:p) aka baja, where the ram won...

Wasn't a fair comparison what so ever considering the race driver they brought in actually raced in a Raptor.

BRZ, just looks better in my opinion.

Would you rather have

1989 Cadillac brougham With 230,000 Kms

OR

1992 Cadillac Deville 260,000
^ The Brougham, easy. Lower miles/kms, classical Caddy profile, RWD, and James May's Caddy of choice! :dopey:

On to the next set.

Dodge Ram Runner vs Ford SVT F-150 Raptor
^ I like the Raptor better simply because its (slightly smaller) size, overall packaging, & it comes right out of the box!!

BRZ, just looks better in my opinion.

1974 Duster

1973 AMX

1974 Camaro

1976 Chevelle

1973 Cougar
^ I'd take the rarer, better looking, and very nostalgic AMX.

Honda S2000 (with the 2.0l, if it matters. I prefer it, because 9,000rpm)

or

Subaru BRZ
^ I currently own an S2K (AP2 w/ the 2.2), but I've driven the AP1 w/ 2.0. I've also driven an FR-S on a track (w/ almost similar suspension dynamics).

-> The AP1 & BRZ have similar size, weight and dynamics. While the AP1 has a power advantage, the BRZ is a very tossable chassis. The AP1 has the (epic VTEC) soundtrack right out of the box, the BRZ has the torque advantage.

-> Sure the BRZ/FR-S/86/GT86 has a 2+2 seating configuration. +2 of what!? Creepy Japanese loli dolls (link almost-NFSW)!? The iQ's rear seats are more hospitable overall!

-> The AP1 S2K on the other hand is a car not for the faint of heart (or skill). A slight mistake CAN wrap you into anything!

Conclusion -> BOTH please!!! :sly: :D

S2000, easy. Can take the roof off, screamer of an engine sounds better than the Boxer with even rather than uneven headers, and I prefer the styling. Mind you, there's a WR Blue BRZ at the Subaru dealer going for under list price....very very tempting.

Here's mine:

2013 Mercedes-Benz A250 Sport in whatever colour combo you like. RRP AU$49,990.

mercedes-benz-a250-sport-6-e1360220039211.jpg

or, this Ford Focus RS, for AU$49,500 with 36,000kms.

Focus is of course the better performer, it'll run the pants off the A-Class all day long, but the A250 is a more sophisticated hot hatch. Better looking and feeling interior (even with the cheapo iPad-lookalike sprouting from the dash), less boy-racerish.

I actually love both of them in their own unique ways. Ideally I'd want both but overall the Focus' charm wins me over.

S2000 v. BRZ: S2000 easily. I want to like the BRZ, but I can't, I just feel like it's a car that need more something. While the S2000 isn't perfect, I feel like it has a ton of character and seems like a joy to drive. Also some of the most chill car guys I've met have been S2000 owners, which makes me think the community surrounding them would be pretty fun.

A250 v. RS: RS, it's a hatchback and I have a Focus biased.

Tough call, think I'd go for the Focus though. I'm a young whippersnapper, screw comfort

^ Are you serious!? The two cars aren't in the same category! Of course I'll pick the Focus RS. I never like the new A-Class, I'd even pick the new 1-hatch over it!

1974 Duster

Vs.

1973 AMX

Vs.

1974 Camaro

Vs.

1976 Chevelle

Vs.

1973 Cougar

I'd honestly be happy with any of them.

Agreeing with what everyone else is saying.

Honda S2000 vs. Subaru BRZ - Subaru any day!

1974 Plymouth Duster vs. 1973 AMC AMX vs. 1974 Chevrolet Camaro vs. 1976 Chevrolet Chevelle vs. 1973 Mercury Cougar - AMX. I have no idea why these things never got as popular as the Camaro/Chevelle/Mustang.

2013 Mercedes-Benz A250 Sport vs. Ford Focus RS - RS, it's a better car IMO and also slightly cheaper.

Honda S2000 vs. BRZ: Ugh, toughie here. They are the perfect cars in the handling section, plus they are reasonably priced and reliable.... I'll take them both! :D

70's Muscle Cars: The AMX, Duster and Camaro wins here.

Mercedes A250 vs. Focus RS: Really?! The RS wins here. Even if it's a FF, the car's handling is impressive just like it's rivals in the sport compact FF class (Civic/Integra Type-Rs, Golf GTis, Cobalt SS etc...) and are impressive in the aftermarket world.

So I'll take the RS! :D

Serious as ever. Of course asking for people to choose between comfort and performance is a bit of a silly question on a forum of enthusiasts but it's still an interesting question and I reckon the A-Class is one of the best hot hatches on sale at the moment.

AMX because imo it looks awesome and is interesting.
And Focus RS, in lime green because I like how crazy yet usable it is.

^ If I'd like the best of both worlds, I'd take the M135i 5-door. I'd just install an LSD and I'm away! :sly:

BT -> Let's go into the Steroid-World USA & AUS edition:

USA - Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE

USA - Ford Mustang BOSS 302 (NOT the Laguna Seca)

AUS - FPV (Ford Falcon) GT BOSS 335

Now we're talking! 👍
Id have the FPV GT 335 with the standard cloth interior and no-cost auto.

The chassis is not as sophisticated as the GTS or 1LE Camaro, but it's much cheaper than the HSV and more practical than both the Mustang and Camaro.
And unlike the Camaro it dosent feel like driving in a bunker.
Plus that Miami V8 has HUGE power potential for not alot of $$.

;)

Problem with that being that, sans-LSD, the M135i is very near $10,000 more expensive here. Most of them are going for a premium too.

Also I wouldn't take any of the V8 brawlers. F6 310 for me thanks:

Cheaper and just as potent in a straight line, plus it's less front heavy than the GT 335; less understeer, better handling. Changes I'd make with the savings include fatter rear tyres and an ECU tune.

S2000 vs BRZ: Subaru, easily.

A250 vs Focus RS: Focus, who doesn't want a 300hp FWD?

Camaro vs Mustang vs FPV vs HSV: HSV, it's the only one of the four being sold in the UK and it comes with a device that measures your drift angle. Who doesn't want that?

Easily the Boss 302.

Matter of fact I saw that SS 1LE thing yesterday and couldn't get a picture while I was in the car. It was red. Looked nice.

SS vs. 302 Boss vs. FPV vs. HSV: Ugh, you got me Van, I'm stumped! Just give me them ALL and some turbos or superchargers, plus a good suspension kit for them! :D

Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE vs. Ford Mustang Boss 302 vs. FPV GT Boss 355 vs. HSV GTS - Well, scratch the Aussies. It's a hard choice between the Boss 302 and the 1LE. I'll take both, please.

Honda s2000 vs BRZ/FRS/GT86

s2k wins all the way. Vtec, revs up to 9000rpm, has a great design, perfect handling, 246 BHP, good value, not so expensive servicing..........
GT86 is a great car, I must say that. But, I would rather buy a 2006 s2k than a new BRZ/FRS/GT86

Are ATV's allowed?
