No question, Aston. Better looking, hardtop, and the sound of a V12. Then again, I'd take a new V8 Vantage over the Jag :P
 
Aston, the jag has too much torque to be usefully deployed. Plus as well crafted the Jag is, the Aston is still more bespoke.

Caprice because rear drive silliness and you can swap a better GM V8 in later on.
 
Fiat, Jag, and Caprice.

Fiat- because if you want a porsche get a 911, boxter, or cayman.

Jag- one of my favorite new Jags.

Caprice- looks better than the Taurus.

The Vanishing Boy, I think you're one of the few people that picked up on just how rare a Z-tune is. Just after posting that comparison, I almost felt like it was a bit of an unfair comparison, considering the Z-tune is most likely more expensive than a newer GT-R.

It's very early in the morning and I still haven't gone to bed, so I probably shouldn't be making such a bold statement, but I think we all need to relax.

You don't like how Vanishing Boy can't make up his mind, but you showed that dislike in quite a mean way. Your post sounded quite angry, in both my and Boy's opinions, so perhaps you should have been a bit nicer there in order to get better results. Also, this is a fun thread, not a serious one, so rules are a bit softer and I think that people should be allowed to post what they think as long as it's relevant. I hardly think the world is going to end if Vanishing can't choose between a Fiat and a Porsche.

Vanishing, I don't doubt for a second that you didn't read the past argument about Vspec and how he did the same thing as you by not picking a car. I think you should have been a bit more careful on your choice of words during that comparo, especially since it annoys other users when you do that mistake. I would personally allow it, but I can't speak for everyone in this thread. You have to respect other people's views.

I am sorry if I have offended anybody, but I think I covered the issue pretty well in the above paragraphs. This means that all the arguments are out there and we can just relax and move on. I would prefer for this thread to not get sidetracked into another one of these discussions, as it has happened twice already in the time that I have been subscribed to it. I would recommend that people choose one car on comparisons and maybe overlook a post where both/neither of the cars are chosen. This is only my opinion and again, I apologise if I have offended anybody, but at least this won't happen in the future...hopefully.

Speedster, I just love how well the classic was remade by that company. Also, it is a lot wider, which I think is a good look.

Now this is a very interesting one. Both have the same type of styling. Both are small roadsters and both good-looking. Looking at the choice from a manufacturers point of view, I would choose the Inline-4 Fiat. Looking at it from another perspective, say, a consumer, I would choose the Flat-4. Why? Inline 4 engines are cheaper to produce, but have a very serious imbalance problem. While as Flat-4's are mounted horizontally and take up a lot of space, there is no serious imbalance problem because it is under 2L and is, as we all know, a boxer engine (the best). Now, both engines are under 2L, so there really is no imbalance problem in either of them. However, I'll still choose the boxer engine, descending from the most prominent of Flat-4's; The Beetle.

As much as I love the sound of the 355, I'd want an NSX just so I could afford to keep it on the road. Would make a much better daily driver.

Same here. That Ferrari will only see the light of day for 2 weeks in the summer, then it gets cold. I prefer a daily driver.
 
I just can't pass up an old Ferrari, I adore them far too much. I've also never been an NSX fan, so I guess I'm biased, but that's my choice. I would have another car as a daily driver.
 
Tough one, my gut says NSX, but my thoughts are saying Ferrari, so I'll go with the Ferrari, looks better than the NSX too.
 
355 vs. NSX: Ugh, tough choice here. I love both cars and they would do me justice. But I'll take the NSX. And make the C32B have some power.
 
I'll have the 355 easily. No if's, and's or but's. The NSX will never have that special charm the 355 has.
