Peugeot, just because it couldn't last 24 hours at race pace doesn't mean it isn't reliable. I mean who needs a car to last that long at that speed.

About the format thing, I'm not really asking anyone to change to it, it's just how I thought of doing it (when I have time).

Audi R15 Plus vs. Peugeot 908 HDi FAP vs. Lola-Aston Martin B09 vs. Lola-Judd B08/60 - Definitely the R15.

1: Audi R15 Plus
2: Lola-Aston Martin B09
3: Lola-Judd B08/60
4: Peugeot 908 HDi FAP

The Lola B08/60 because I like the looks and there's not much else to really say on the matter.

#BRZorThat

NB: If you've ever watched AFTER/DRIVE on the /DRIVE channel you may know what this is all about. If not, well it's pretty obvious anyway. In this case I'll include what's already been in #BRZorThat plus a couple more similar or otherwise "oddball" alternatives.

This is mostly based on what you feel would be the purest/best driving experience, so specifications are not included for this reason, nor is price although I will say all of these alternatives one way or another are available for less than the BRZ's driveaway price here of AU$39,990.

Subaru BRZ vs. Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition vs. BMW M3 vs. BMW Z3M Coupe vs. Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version V Coupe vs. Westfield SeiW Duratec vs. Porsche 911 Carrera vs. Mazda RX-7 Bathurst R vs. Nissan Silvia Spec-R - It's hard between the M3, BRZ, and WRX. But I'm going with the Impreza, because....it's an Impreza. :P

Results:
1: Subaru Impreza WRX STi Version V Coupe
2: BMW M3
3: Subaru BRZ
4: Porsche 911 Carrera
5: Mazda RX-7 Bathurst R
6: Nissan Silvia Spec-R
7: Westfield SeiW Duratec
8: Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition
9: BMW Z3M Coupe

The mist tempting are te bimmers and the S2k, but I'll go with the E46 if it's for the same purpose as the BR

EDIT: in my current situation I'd take the Z3 though and mod it to my liking as a track/weekend car

I included quite a few more than I originally intended to.....oh well :P

The STi is quite high on my list too however I'm not sure it would provide the absolute best driving experience for me. I do love driving my Rexy dearly though.

It's a toss-up between the SeiW, RX-7 and the STi for me. I'll have to come back to it.

Its a tough one between the E46 and s2000 i cant choose because i used to have a 2000 and it was an awesome!! change, Mpower to Vtec! then back again lol!. I guess id take the M3 in the end.

I reckon I'd go with the Bathurst R. The SeiW is incredibly tempting as it's a big go-kart for the road essentially but the RX-7 has a pretty visceral driving experience as well. Plus the rotary soundtrack and those looks.

@ massive sports car comparo: I don't know which to choose! I'm kind of stuck between the RX7, M3, and 996. The RX7 is so pretty, and it's a rotary, but the Porsche and BMW are legends.

LMP Cars -

1. Audi R15
2. Judd
3. Lola Aston
4. Peugeot 908

$40,000 or less cars -

1. Nissan Silvia Spec-R (in white with black rims, please!)
2. Mazda RX-7 Bathurst R
3. BMW M3 E46
4. Subaru BRZ
5. Honda S2000 UE
6. Westfield SeiW Duratec
7. Subaru Impreza
8. Porsche 911 Carrera
9. BMW Z3 M Coupe

Peugeot, just because it couldn't last 24 hours at race pace doesn't mean it isn't reliable. I mean who needs a car to last that long at that speed.

The people who drive them. :sly:

With that said, though, I'd have the Peugeot. Less because of how good of a race car it is and more because it has a funny name.

As for the comparo above, I'd have the Porsche 911, but I'd be happy with the S2000 as well.

I have a new format! :P

Aston Martin V8 Vantage V600 vs. Aston Martin DBS - No pictures or years, so I can't really decide. :indiff:

Results:
???

Mercedes-Benz E350 vs. Lexus GS - GS, the E350 looks ok, but the headlights looks like the designer just drew a blob and said "here, put this shape somewhere on this car."

Results:
1: Lexus GS
2: Mercedes-Benz E350

Acura RDX vs. Volvo XC60 T6 - RDX, easy (maybe because I'm biased).

Results:
1: Acura RDX
2: Volvo XC60 T6

Subaru Forester Sports 2.0XT vs. Nissan Juke Nismo vs. Mitsubishi Airtrek Turbo-R vs. Acura RDX - This is really hard. I'm torn between the Forester, the Juke, and the RDX. I'm biased on the Subaru and the Acura, and I just kinda like the Juke. I guess I'll take the just out of the equation because even with a bodykit and upgrades, you can't get past the ugliness. I'll take the Forester because the old RDX really wasn't that great, the newer one is so much better.

Results:
1: Subaru Forester Sports 2.5XT
2: Acura RDX
3: Nissan Juke Nismo
4: Mitsubishi Airtrek Turbo-R

Hummer H1 vs. Dodge Ram T-Rex vs. Land Rover Defender vs. Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6X6 vs. Chenoweth DPV vs. Ford F-150 Raptor vs. Saleen XP8 vs. Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 - This one is also hard. The Ram and F-150 are out because I'm not a truck guy. The G63 is out because I don't think this car looks good in a 6x6 offroad form. The Chenoweth is out because I don't want an offroader that's open like that. Between the H1, Defender, XP8, and Cherokee, I'll take the Defender, semi-biased and it's just the best to me, not much of a reason.

Results:
1: Land Rover Defender
2: Saleen XP8
3: Hummer H1
4: Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8
5: Chenoweth DPV
6: Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6x6
7: Dodge Ram T-Rex
8: Ford F-150 Raptor

Ferrari F430 vs. Porsche 911 GT3 RS - RS, if it was just a GT3 I'd pick the 430.

Results:
1: Porsche 911 GT3 RS
2: Ferrari F430

Volkswagen Golf GTI vs. Talbot Sunbeam-Lotus - Golf, too easy. My dad also had an MK1 as his 1st car (not a GTI, though).

Results:
1: Volkswagen Golf GTI
2: Talbot Sumbeam-Lotus

For the Aston V600 and DBS V12 there was only one gen. of cars so why would you need it? Pictures are on google.

RX-7 Bathurst R

Because I like a yellow RX-7 just a wee it more than an S2000.

And a new DBS, even though Aston hasn't had a new styling idea since the DB7, I still love the way they look.

F430 vs. GT3 RS: Easily the RS wins hands down!

LMP Cars: Tough choice between the Audi and 908, but I'll go with the 908. It is one of my favorite LMPs next to Audi and Toyota's LMPs. The R15 comes 2nd.

908 1st
R15 2nd
Lola 3rd
Judd 4th

Sport cars under $40k: Wow, this is tough! Someone using my technique?

From the BRZ, the M3, 911, RX-7, S2K and S15.......... I'll go with the FD3S and build me a 3 or 4 rotor engine and build me a drift car! ;)

S15 2nd
M3 E46 3rd
S2K 4th
911 5th
BRZ 6th

That Lamborghini is gorgeous.

Edit: I forgot this was the Would You Rather thread. I'll take the Aventador, even though the Miura looks amazing as well.

The Miura. It's just more special and really the core foundation of Lamborghinis. The fact that its an SV-J is even more compelling.

Old school Lamborghini vs. Modern Lamborghini: Tough one, but I'll go with the Mura, because classic and I can get a Aventador later.
