He's talking about the "Wrong Way" letters that appear near the bottom of the screen when you go on... the wrong way...

That's always fun. :p They get in the way though sometimes...

I actually hate those letters. I like to drive backwards sometimes and they get annoying. I guess if I get to tired of them I can just do that track on reverse. :)

hahaha... racing on reverse is heaps fun, but its annoying to hafta hold down the button to see behind.

;)

I love hitting the ppl head on

Yeah I hit a Mini Cooper when I was going about 130 on the pit straight on Deep Forest. Sent him back to the pit entrance and he immediately pitted. I think I'll try entering the pit backwards tomorrow. Some of us are sick bastards 😈

*nods head*

Hitting cars straight on at Super Speedway in the Formula GT race is loads of fun, especially since you can meet up with a car every 20 seconds or so! :D

I've taken the Escudo to the Test Course a couple of times in the Like the Wind Tournament and Pro League Turbo Cup race and would turn around at the start and hit people head-on as they come the other way. The ultra-light Escudo would always get sent screeching down the track backwards from the impact, while the other car would slide back a few feet then keep going. Sometimes when the collision was made on a turn, the Escudo would get knocked way up in the air doing spins and crash down nose-first. Some good looking stuff on replay. But I don't understand. How does the AI get such super-strong brakes? Even when I've tried coming head-on with a powerful, heavy car, the Aston Martin Vanquish, I would still get knocked several hundred feet back while the computer would skid to a stop not far from where contact was made.

Fury- same prob here. If I use the Escudo, I will spin many, many times, yet the AI will stall for a sec then move on as if nothing happened...

YAY!!!! Post #500!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And on GTPlanet's One Year Anniversary! Yippie! :loudmusic

Yeah I like pushing cars into the air.........an why do you always get pushed so far down the track....compared to the AI.....it's mucked up bad!

True... but I don't care. When I'm pissed off, I turn on GT3 and smack those suckers to HELL!! HAHAHAHA!! 😈 😈 😈

Bleah, no one congratulates me... :smilewink

BTW, there was some freak of nature when I went backwards once... I was at SS 11 II (Special Stage Route 11, Backwards) in the Pro league. I knew I was gonna lose, so I started going backwards on the straightway. Through some awesome chances, I hit the Toyota GT-One car head on, and it got stuck on the Pit sign! The chances of doing this must be one in a million- I hit the car straight on... when you hit a car straight on, it usually deflects sideways and slams into a wall. Yet, I hit it just right so that it got stuck on the Pit barrel sign (the beginning of the divider between Pit Lane and the main track)... the GT1 was stuck there for the rest of the race. :D
