Wsp, dfgt to g27?

So ive contacted wheelstand pro asking how much a shifter plate, because im upgrading from dfgt to g27. They said ill need a g27 mounting plate aswell, but i dont think i do. Could i get some help on this?

The shifter plate attaches to the mounting plate.
Either side actually depending on preference.

I would get that plate too if I was you mate.

But im a good diy person. Couldnt i just drill a few holes and cut the price probanly in 1/2?
 
The shifter mounting plate has the nuts welded to it so yes. It's a matter of drilling the wheel mounting plate to accept the screws.
You will need to counter sink the mounting plate too as the wheel base will sit on top of the screws.

If your current mounting plate is shorter across the width of the wheel base that could cause a problem.

Is the DFGT footprint the same as a G27. I'm not sure.

Are you really saving that much by not having the proper mounting plate?

The clamps are in the same place as the dfgt, yes, and im well able to do all that.
Im not sure how much it will be on its own, but im pretty confident it will be about EUR10-15 cheaper. Ill get back to them later.
