I try not to add turbo to any of the cars in trying to get a tune that balances speed and fuel economy, is why I will state the max laps that can be done with full tank and the fuel map setting that accomplished this. I find that 17of the 19 AI pits at the end of 3 laps, so if I can get 3 or more laps before I have to pit all the better.

4:03 i made with gr.4 renault megane trophy upgraded with turbo
I used this for the first time since buying it ages ago,i have to say for a Gr4 car its a real blast. So much grip and with the extra turbo its a flyer especially on le mans. Its not exactly slow either on FM6. 👍

@jrbabbitt with your Mazda 787B i made a 4:02.176. I guess it was the quickest for me at 700pp
And I lost around .400 - .500 seconds during the lap, so mid 4:01 is very possible.
Not sure about <4min, for me at least

I know it's not very important for 30min race. But i try to make these races not so boring trying to make a lap as fast as possible :)

So ye, thank you for the tune, sir

This is a basic tune for the 787 to get under the 700PP limit, please fine tune it to make you fastest laps...

This race has been fun for me with experimenting on different cars.

Could you take a request and do a normal road car? Bonus points for a four door!

Update with 787B:
4:01.175 (rain started at the end of lap so maybe could be a bit faster)

sorry for offtop

Will attempt as soon as I get back from holiday... any specific 4 door?

The Toyota Crown would be impressive, but I’m not sure that it can be tuned to 700pp, so how about an EVO IV?

I’ll try myself, we can compare tunes. Thanks!

My working machine is Mitsubishi GTO very fast on straight but swim on corners, i hope someone make nice tuning 🍻

Oh, OK...
For me it has tons of grip while driving with no assists (ABS only)
It's funny the personal preferences we all use. I don't like the ABS, but am addicted to TCS (irl, complete opposite).

I found the back-end very loose, but controllable (indeed there were times that I would've completely lost control in other cars, but this car allowed me to bring it back from the edge). I'm sure it's just my driving style. Maybe I'll give it a shot without TCS.

Hi!

Thank you for this setup.
With this one, do you normally manage with 1 fuel stop, or does it need 2?

I did run one race with this one. I did it with FM6. I was required to do 2 fuel stops.
I had to run the 7th lap.
I did change to Intermediates after lap 3.
Felt like those were needed?
Does that affect fuel consumption? And it was this that made me have to go a second fuel stop?

I would be looking for a car that can do this race with max 1 fuelstop.
I did try the Redbull Junior. Did not need the fuelstop, but believe one anyway may need to change to intermediate, so one need to do one stop anyway. And I thought it was a bit boring to drive. Did it have less power maybe?

98 times out of 100 you are changing tires twice on this race. I've never understood the obsession with the 1-stop...
And a lot of cars have the ability to run a 4 lap on inters with fuel saving. Due to needing to change gears early to avoid loss of traction in the wet anyway, you’ve already done it by the time a dry line appears and the ai usually pit again.

Currently, I'm pretty much only at Sarthe. If the rain is coming, it's there by the 3rd lap and that's all I need out of my FM, so that's my 1st pit, 2nd pit is when the track has dried a bit. Bear in mind, I'm typically in a road car, so 4 laps is a rarity anyways.

RANGE: 3 LAPS @ FM6

The LSD and suspension settings can be adjusted to suit your driving style.

Working on other road cars, do not have Crown Athlete yet, I'll even try the Toyota Truck...(doubt it will survive)

FM6 for 3 laps, 2 gets you 2 laps. Fuel up during tire changes, 2-stop setup. Few upgrades, all bolt-on except for the frame. Trans is custom, but untouched and the wing may be unnecessary as well. For a road car at Sarthe, you can't do much better (but I'm going to try with the Audi 4.2 later).
