i thought i read somewhere this thing was meant to have a constantly variable 1 speed gearbox... the video at the end would say otherwise..

I really thought they would have kept this under wraps till the game comes out.
Can't seem to see to many surprises left tbh.

In the garage pic with Virtual Vettel, the floor is unrealistic. Aren't garage floors meticulously kept clean and almost always a white color, to make sure every tiny part is accounted for after doing work on the car?

I know aircraft hangars where work is being done are that way, and I assumed most high-end racing garages did the same.

That mirrored surface would like hide anything that would happen to fall or get misplaced.

this is insufferable, what on earth were they thinking, screwing up such important part of the game and instead focus on cars... you should write to PD immediately, you know
 
The black/carbon fiber version looks gorgeous.

But id say rally is out of the question, imagine all the stones and dirt that would get sucked in to the fan.

Oh yeah and rain at suzuka is nice to see!

That track in the second pic is one of the Nurburgring GP circuits. I recognize it from GRID!

In the close up of the steering wheel display there are Brake rear and brake front adjustment icons in the top corners but what are the TEN front and TEN rear icons in the bottom corners?
 
Incredible! It's "easy" to do ridiculous speeds and laptimes in the virtual world, but realistically, with the G-forces and "fear", I really wonder what his lap times would be. We'll we ever see this car in real-life?

Black/carbon edition looks amazing.

Like gtone339 said, the engine note at high-revs does remind me of the F2007 in Prologue.

Also - just a question:

Are the downforce fans powered by the engine? or is the fan at the back of the car wind/vacuum powered and drives the downforce fans?
 
WOW this is great, this is sooooo fast. it will take me all day to get a clean lap in thats if I dont black out at 8.25G through 130R at Suzuka. CANT WAIT!!!! :D
 
The F1 car in GT4 did The Green Hell in under 5. This will go under 4 min no problem.

My guess would be about 3:45.
 
It seems a odd way to do the track selection, it would have been better if you could choose the track then have a drop down menu with the night / day selection.
 
About sound, obviously it is horrible, but if you listen carefully, you should find it different when Vettel is driving compared to the replay sound, isn't it?
