X1s IN EVERY LOBBY!!

Joined a Japanese lobby earlier today to try out the new Spa track..and guess what....a heap of noobs with X1's driving in the reverse direction and spoiling it for others.....still enjoyed the track though.

create your own lobby and set limits, that way you dont have to put up with any x1s. simple!!!

Sorry, misunderstood your post. But I still don't agree. I can't remember the last time an X1 driver gave me trouble. I sure can remember the last time a Sauber C9, or ARTA Gayria, or road car driver did though.

But of course, that's only my experience. Still, it really can't be argued that the center cause of trouble is the driver. The X1 doesn't force you to run into someone else, and if the driver chooses to make trouble, it's easy enough to be rid of him.

No. What PD should do is implement a "No (insert car here)" feature. The X1 is not special. The bad drivers are the problem.

Do so many people really race in rooms without restrictions? And if so, why?

Oh, I was referring to a time-span of practically months, not just one or two sittings. But yeah, it's the drift rooms I mainly go to and I do see one or two drivers in the dang things just mucking about ruining the lobby...

However, yes, those restricted lobbies are such a delight. 👍

Simple solution. Don't join unlimited rooms. If you join those there is a chance that at least one is using the X1. I haven't seen one online in a long time.

It is very annoying. I usually can't find any good lobbies without X1's. I wouldn't mind if it was JUST faster cars. The X1's ruin the "Track Day" Experience for me.

Oh I know that feeling, the best way to go about it is pretty much road courses only. Though I can say one very good thing came out of those free X2010s, people now seem willing to learn how to drive it. I've been to multiple X2010 rooms over the past week or so and most people have been trying to learn how to drive them. It's really quite awesome to see.

Yup. That's why I try to help out the way guys like Leyba and ps3 helped me. End result should be more guys running the x10/11 on road courses.

So, have you done any better than your 1:10.8 on Spa yet? I think my best is only about 1:14:__

I sadly haven't had the fortune of finding a small room to lap it. I'm pretty sure the X2010s time could drop another .5 seconds and the X2011 could do a 1:09 easily.

Power limiter goes down to 50%, I wasn't aware half of 1600odd was over 1000.

Simple solution: pp limit to 750; x1 is the only car that cant get under it.

You cant trade the X1 (or any "expensive" car)...but lets say that you could, who would wanted it? ....
if you win the bronze in S.V. Challenge you'll get another one. 3 in total.
PD managed to make the X1 by far the most common car, and thats not the problem....the problem is that you cant sell the damn thing. lol.

I don't kick anyone in my lobby unless they're going out of their way to ram people... but I encourage others to drive it as to become better. I don't mind if they're practicing and they're horrible at it. I've come to understand that the X1 is part of GT now and with the X2011 on the way, its clear to me that its most likely not going anywhere.

In some odd way, I can't help but feel that kicking people who just simply drive it is somehow no better than (or even the same thing as) puting the car on a pedastool and praising it as the best thing to hit GT as some of our more elite players do. I'm opposed to both extremes. Everyone knows the ZR1 Corvette is the best car in the game, so this notion is ridiculous. The X1 is just a car at the end of the day, nothing special about it. Kicking people for driving it just adds to the hysteria and it makes people that more anxious to drive it (and to drive it like assholes) in active free run rooms. People who drive them don't deserve any more attention than people driving Fiat 500Rs.

On that note, I have people ramming and getting in the way in Fiat 500Rs more annoying than X1s.
