Hmm. I wonder who these people are waiting a for a price drop on a system that was already available for $299.99 if price was the issue. It also hurts the value of the elite system.
While it certianly is (because fixing the problem would be the actual solution to the problem, which Microsoft refuses to actually acknowledge officially), I was referring specifically to the price drop. Besides, we all know that they did the warranty extension to prevent a big old class-action or forced recall more than anything (like what happened to Sony over DRE-ing PS2s).How is extending the warranty to 3 years at the cost of $1 billion "a shallow attempt to make it easier to ignore the growing concerns over reliability problems"?
Considering that the lesser PS3 (that really wasn't that lesser, to be honest) was avoided like the plague, I'd imagine buying the tard pack 360 (which is crap compared to the Premium 360) would make you grossly unpopular with the opposite sex and kill your dog. Or something.LaBountiHmm. I wonder who these people are waiting a for a price drop on a system that was already available for $299.99 if price was the issue.
If "interesting" means that the base 360 will still sell like crap and the Wii will outsell it in dazzling odds, sure.YSSMANI'd assume that its a $50 drop across the board (thats what Digg was hinting at, according to their sources), so having the "core" 360 at the same price as the Wii should be interesting.
I think M$ just did it "sony style". They dropped price to clear pros without hdmi.(pro with hdmi is coming)
