I actually have one of these XCM convertors; I really must get my ass in gear and try it out!

Wasted money, put it towards a Fanatec instead.

Not a chance, I don't play enough XBox stuff to warrant splashing out on anything from Fanatec. Also, their delivery and customer service leave something to be desired.

I already have the G25, and XBox and controller so this is worth a punt for me. Who knows, further firmware updates may improve the feedback. If Fanatec can do it, so could the XCM... :)

I'd buy one, I have a wired controller, I have a G27, but I just don't wanna drop $80-$90 on an adapter like this. $40? Sure. $80... ehhh. That's a good chunk of a GT2 right there...

Then tell me how you can get real FFB and 900 degree steering from a controller? The XCM is just a method around the problem but not a solution for a problem. You won't be able to get the same experience if you can't drive a sim like a real life car. Not worth the money to at all.

I'm not "telling" you anything. All I said was I'd give it a whirl. Relax, it's not like I'm spending your money, is it?

I got one but I don't have a g27 yet :( I tried it out with my ps3 controller . Right now my DFGT and gt5 are getin hard workouts and I've just been using my Xbox for cod black ops . I just got the DFGT when gt5 came out ,and as soon as a get a g27 the DFGT is goin on craigslist . I should almost get my money back since I put a fan in and a push on /push off switch in it .

if thats true then dont waste the money buying this garbage and a WIRED. controller thats even more of a waste. Nobody wants half assed racing and I said this would merely emulate a gamepad and rumble instead of forcefeedback and thats exactly what it is. Waste of money. there will be no updates for FF because logitech cannot do XID forcefeedback which the 360 uses. It will just tranfer rumble effects instead

Read what you just quoted: "I already have a controller." (a wired one; can't remember where or why I got it). I'm not shouting from the rooftops proclaiming this device to be the be-all-and-end-all. All I'm doing is buying one and giving it a try. Jeez...

Also, provide a link for the "Logitech cannot do HID force feedback" please.

Sorry, I meant to say XID forcefeedback. The 360 uses XID and PS3/PC/Logitech use HID. The Fanatec wheels have dual FF circuitry.
