I got a xport ps2 disc from a friend and downloaded the software for the computer, but what kind of usb cable do I need? Also is there any starter FAQ for someone wanting to make/download hybrids? Thanks.

Your friend share his X-Port CD and is keeping his USB cable?? 👎

Btw, the USB cable is specific to the X-Port.

PS2 USB plug <-Cable-> Adapter <-Cable-> PC USB plug

Ok that sucks, I searched and it looks like it's cheaper to buy x-port than just a cable. I think the problem is he just doesn't know where he put the cable, so maybe he can find it.

Any generic USB cable is compatable with the X-port, it is just the actual x-port module in between the 2 cables that you need, along with the software.

How about a deal? I'll trade you my X-Port cable for your X-Port PS2 Disc.
Anyway I do need a PS2 disc for my X-Port (It's a NTSC U/C I hope).
