You think getting your hands on a sleek Ford GT40 LM Race Car is as easy as going to the used car lot down the road.

When you look at your neighbors Chevy Silverado and tell him it's really a 1954 Corvette Convertible.

You think you can buy a NASCAR stock car just by walking into a Chevy Dealership with $500,000.

When you suddenly realize that racking up points on your license in reality is actually a bad thing.

When you're driving in real life, and you roll your car over for the trophy.

When you run a championship against the AI - having a fun battle for the championship lead - and when it's all over consider sending the AI driver you were battling with a PSN message congratulating him on his victory.

HAHAHAHA

When you see ghost cars on the road

*I see dead cars!!*

When you decide the find the apex when cornering with a shopping trolley in a supermarket. LOL

When you actual start paying attention to the raindrops on your windshield to see if they really move like that.
Which surprisingly, they kind of do.

When...
-You put MP3s of songs from GT 1-4 on your PS3 hard drive to listen to while you race, pining for classic PS1-2 memories.
-You use certain racing games like ModNation Racers as "GT5 practice".
-You use MNR's track editor to build Gran Turismo-like courses, or set the number of AI opponents to 5 like the PS1 and 2 days, even going as far as using the Pure Race settings.
-You create a MNR Mod like the drivers' suits in GT5.
-You play NASCAR 09 as the drivers' cars that are also in GT5...way too much.
-You have dreams of driving in Tokyo R246 or the other courses.
-You watch the One Tree Hill episode "I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning" - from Season 2 where Nathan (James Lafferty) goes too fast, hits the wall and crashes a NASCAR Nextel (now Sprint Cup) Series Chevrolet Monte Carlo (now Impala) and when you play GT5, you try to force an AI driver to make that same mistake in an A-Spec or B-Spec event in a NASCAR Sprint Cup car.
-In the U.S., you watch shows such as The Price is Right or Let's Make a Deal and if a PS3 is offered as a prize (and if you already have GT5), you check to see if GT5 is one of the games that comes with the prize.
-You watch the former as explained above to see if the car offered as at least a Pricing Game or Showcase prize is playable in GT5.
-You watch shows such as Top Gear and (in the U.S.) SPEED's Battle of the Supercars to see if cars featured are playable in GT5.
-You wear a racing suit similar to the driver models in GT5.

When you spend so much time on this forum and realise how much time you've actually spent on gt5

It's just such a good game

when you make threads about playing it to much.

when you try to sit up from your sofa and realise your flesh has become one with the fabric.

..........when you criticize your girlfriend for turning in WAAYY to early at the McDonald's entrance & riding the curb.................but then she only orders you a dang grilled chicken salad :yuck:

When you dream that you´re getting in your car, and there is no steering wheel, pedals or shift stick... only a dual shock 3. (true story)

Or whistling GT Auto´s music all day. (Get it out of my head!!!!!) Damn!! I´m doing it right now while typing!!!!!

When you work all day and you know you wont have time to play GT5...but on break you rush home and go on for a sec just to get your 5 daily museum cards

When you wonder why there is a windshield and wipers, dashboard, A/C and radio on your wheel stand, then you realize you're actually in a car.

When you start flashing your high beams at slow drivers in real life.
(I've been very tempted to do this, and did it to a person that pulled out a short ways ahead of me.)

...When you realize that trees look so realistic in RL.

...When you realize that the ground texture looks so beautiful in RL.

...When you realize that RL runs at 60 FPS. .... It really happens

...When you feel that you are a good driver in RL .. after you've golded a couple of license tests.

...When a music from GT5 sticks inside your head! I'm out of ideas
