Nurburgthing and especially Toko. I like what you guys are doing with the road version and then RM follow up. This shows a bit of ease for GT to implement it somewhat.

I said it 2 weeks ago, and i will say it again, all we want is to know what the hell is going on.

Are we getting More DLC and if so, when ? If not, fine, at least we would know !

Please PD, put us out of our Misery...surely it cant be that hard.

@Smokey Nismo
Indeed. :)

@LMSCorvetteGT2
I credit Nurburgthing. for inspring me with that fantastic idea. It gives a big meaning for RMing road cars to race or rally built machines, like it was in GT1 & GT2. 👍

I'll start a bit with Ferrari next.

McLaren MP4/14 '99

McLaren%20MP4-14%20Hakkinen_thumb%5B1%5D.jpg
At the turn of the new century, the battles in F1 were just as rough as they had been throughout the ages. Even as technology started playing a role with the Formula 1 cars, the battles were still outright fierce. The McLaren Mercedes MP4/14 was designed by world famous Adrian Newey, who now works with Red Bull Racing. The nose cone was made even smaller than it was in 1998. This should make more air to go in the sidepods, with a better engine cooling as result. Other remarks are the sloping upper front wheel supports, because of the very low nose. It also has a 6 speed sequential semi-automatic transmission and the 3.0-litre naturally aspirated FO110H 72° V10 that was developed by none other than Mercedes Benz. Another piece in its puzzle was the Carbon Fiber Brake Scoop, which acts like the airbrakes seen on super sports cars, such as the SLR McLaren and the Bugatti Veyron. The drivers for the 1999 season were Mika Häkkinen and David Coulthard, and while it was brutally fast, it was counteracted by the fact that it wasn’t the most reliable car, most famously shown at the German Grand prix, where the car that Mika spun out at 207 miles per hour can be seen at the Science Museum in London. Still, that didn’t stop them winning a total of 7 races (Mika 5, David 2) to finish 2nd in the constructors championship, and for Mika, win the drivers title for the 2nd time that year.
Avaliable car colours: #1 Mika Häkkinen, #2 David Coulthard

Maserati MC12 GT1 Vitaphone Racing Team '10
4574781093_e2440a85c4_z.jpg
Vitaphone Racing Team is a German race team formed in 2004. The team name is actually Bartels Motor & Sport GmbH, but runs under the title of their primary sponser, Vitaphone GmbH. Initially, they ran with the Saleen S7R (With Michael Bartels and Uwe Alzen) in 2004, but from 2005 onwards, they switched over to the Maserati MC12 GT1. The switchover worked wonders, and so begun the title streak that went undefeated for 4 years. For 2010, the inaugural season of the GT1 World Championship, the #1 car was once again driven once again by the champions of the 2006 and 2008 duo of Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini, while car #2 was driven by Miguel Ramos, Enrique Bernoldi and Alexandre Negrao (For one round only). Although they only won two races in the season (at Paul Ricard and Interlagos), they were consistent enough to once again win the drivers and teams championships, proving that consistency really does pay off, especially in endurance races.
Avaliable car colours: #1 Vitaphone Racing Team & #2 Vitaphone Racing Team

Maserati MC12 GT1 Triple H Team Hegersport '10
4606482123_4674086282_z.jpg
Hegersport GmbH is a German auto racing company which serves as the organizer for the German Porsche Sports Cup series, as well as a racing team which competed in the FIA GT1 World Championship under the title Triple H Team Hegersport.

The company was formed in 2000 by racing drivers Altfrid Heger and Christof Maischak in Essen, Germany, originally organizing the V8Star Series for touring cars in Germany and across Europe.

Following the end of the V8Stars series in 2004, Hegersport coordinated with Porsche Germany to establish the Sports Cup series, a national series for Porsche drivers. Hegersport also serves as a private customer event organizer, and provides training and safety courses for individuals.

In this season of the FIA GT1, the driver lineup at the start of the season was Altfrid Heger and Alexandros Margaritis (#33) and Matteo Bobbi and Bert Longin(#34). Though the Vitaphone Maserati's got all the fame, one cannot forget the intresting black and white cars, where they managed a 2nd place finish at Spa Francorchamps and 5 top 10 finishes, where they finished 7th in the Teams Championship as a result.
Avaliable car colours: #33 Triple H Team Hegersport & #34 Triple H Team Hegersport

This is officially the best looking car I have ever seen to date. The legendary Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale. Only 18 have ever been made.

Thank you Foxiol. :) I have a shire love for Ferrari cars and other classic and modern cars. I heavily credit Nurburgthing for such a amazing idea. It gives RMing road cars a big mean in Gran Turismo. 👍

I've added two more Ferrari cars in the last post, check it put. ;)

Why cant GT get this? Its been racing since last 3 years in Japan.

+1 I've been wanting this car for ages, I'm a huge BMW fan, but I still think this is the best looking race car in the world.

I'll agree wholeheartedly, I too think it's one of the best looking cars ever made, it's drop dead gorgeous from almost every angle.

Was meant for here, got posted in the wrong thread (no idea how that happened). Anyway, seeing as this game has the Escudo, why doesn't PD add more Pikes Peak cars like this?

Toyota Celica Pikes Peak Version ‘94

Toyota_Celica_Pikes_Peak_by_smevcars.jpg
The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, also known as the Race to the Clouds, is a yearly race to see who has the maddest car in the world. Beginning in 1916, the 20 kilometer (12.4 miles), 156 turn is a monster of a stage, especially as it climbs at nearly 1500 meters.

At the time, this event was dominated by cars like the Peugeot 405 T16 and Audi S1 Quattro Pikes Peak, but what came after those two were so amazing, it may as well have been made from bits and pieces from the seven wonders of the world. This Toyota Celica you see here is made with a tube chassis and a carbon fiber silhouette. The word silhouette means a drawing consisting of the outline of something, especially a human profile, filled in with a solid color.

Because the car is built on the AAR Toyota Eagle GTPs, the engine, a 2.1 L 4-cyl turbo developing 850 horsepower and 1,100 lb-ft of torque, sits directly in the cockpit. It also means that the driver is pushed right into the back seat, like a funny car you see in drag racing. It also utilizes the front and rear venturi tunnels, which kicked up huge dust rooter tails, similar to a Formula 1 being driven in the wet. The weight comes in at 885 kilograms, the same as the Counsulier GTP.

The driver, Rod Millen, won with this car in 1994, 96 and 97, with him setting the record, 10:04.06, that stood for 13 years. One last thing; That lap was done on an all dirt road. There wasn't any paved road sections like there are today.

Know that you are not alone in wanting to see this car in GT. I and several other players want it. But the important thing is to keep your feet on the ground and wait, because there are many suggestions. Well, as another suggestion, would like to see these cars:

I want to know that too, But. With your help with this fantastic well written info about the car inself, just may happen someday hopefully. 👍

^Mhmm. I managed to find some info about it on Speedhunters.com, which is something of a godsend for me.

Anywho, time for two more Pikes Peak cars:
Suzuki Monster Sport SX4 '11
Suzuki_motorsport.jpg
The Suzuki SX4 is a five door hatchback, designed in cooperation with Fiat. Around this time, Suzuki had pulled out of the World Rally Championship and Monster Sport needed a replacement for the XL7, which had very nearly broke the barrier of almost impossibility: The 10 minute barrier, on a track where cars lose 30% of power as they climb up the hill. Enter the SX4.

Based on the idea of high downforce and low drag, the car went through outright exhaustive tests in order to cope with the modified road surface, which now consisted of more tarmac and less gravel than it had done in previous years. Sticking to what Monster Sport knows best, it retains the 910 horsepower and 90.5 kg-m of torque 3.1 liter Monster Special V6 that was in the 2010 car.

This car at the 2011 Pikes Peak Internation Hill Climb finally broke the barrier with a time of 9:51.278, driven by none other than Nobuhiro Tajima, which for a track like this, beggars belief.

Ford RS200 Pikes Peak Special
6721647683_2853c92638_z.jpg
Liam Doran is a British Rallycross driver who started his career aged just 14 years old. He started driving in the Junior Mini in the popular sport of Rallycross, where modified rally cars race on closed mixed suface circuits. A determined Liam very quickly progressed through the stages and got deeper into Rallycross. Since he started, he is now competing in the respected X Games, LOORS (The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series), Global Rallycross Championship and the MSA British Rallycross Championship.

In order to cope with the outright brutal nature of hillclimbing, the car has been, like the Fiesta Pikes Peak Special, gutted from the inside out. It's engine, a 1.8 liter straight 4, has not only been bored to 2.1 liters, it also has a Garrett turbocharger and an Nitrous Oxide (NO2) injection, along with quad-throttle inlet manifolds with an air bypass and water/methanol injection, which now produces 925 brake horsepower, a massive 575 horsepower gain (Or to put it into perspective, a Mercedes SLS AMG engine has escaped into the RS200.). It also has Formula 1 brakes, a DTM front splitter and electric power steering. In fact, when you compare it to original car, it doesn't even look recognisable.

Though the car hasn't turned a wheel yet in anger, the RS200 Pikes Peak Special is pretty much what would happen if Group B carried on despite the hideous accident back in 1986.

How pathetic is GT5 DLC?

The last time DLC was released (DLC 3), we were on page 86.

LOL. Nearly 100 pages later and over 4 months ago.

You are SOOO right, how loud do the paying customers have to scream? Maybe they are preparing something really major? If not then they are sacrificing a lot of revenue. Forza4 is going to make a ton tomorrow.

i woner why people keep comparing GT5 to forza. They DON'T have the same fanbase and they DON'T aim for the same crowd. Forza is exclusive to xbox as GT to playstation. They don't compete against each other and try to steal each others crowds because their on seperate systems.

that aside from what i've seen recently we still haven't gotten the Acura NSX concept yet so that's obviously on my list. as well as the SSC ultimate aero and other super cars that i would've loved in the game. Who wouldn't like a premium konieggseig agrea or something of the like in the game :D.
