Lamborghini Murcielago RSV '10
The fighting bull doesn't have any equals or limits or even any real end. That is why the Lamborghini Murcielago remains one of more iconic cars and a successor to the mad cars of the Miura, Countach and the Diablo. However, even bulls get genuinely evil, and lo and behold, Reiter Engineering made this - The Murcielago 670 R-SV.
A racing version of the Murciélago LP670 Super Veloce, the LP670 R-SV has been modified by Reiter Engineering to comply with FIA regulations. The R-SV was mainly built to run in the FIA GT1 World Championship. The car was unveiled to the world's adoring public during a FIA press conference at the 24h of Spa race in 2009. It has been changed to two wheel drive as opposed to the standard cars 4 wheel drive, given a 6 speed sequential developed by Holinger Europe and optimized aerodynamics.
The drivers for the full assault on the GT1 World Championship were former BMW works driver Peter Kox and ELMS racer Christopher Haase in car #24, while former Formula 1 driver Ricardo Zonta and 2008 Vicar Cup champion Rafael Daniel drove car #25. All-inkl.com Munnich Motorsport would be spearheaded by 1993 Le Mans winner Christophe Bouchut and 'Ring specialist Marc Basseng in #37, while Minardi F1 test driver Nicky Pastorelli and hard charging Super GT racer Dominik Schwager were paired together in car 38.
The cars showed genuinely good grace, with the #25 Reiter sweeping the weekend at Navarra and winning the championship race at Spa, which as a result, placed the team in 3rd overall. In 2011, the car was on-set to win from the Hexis AMR, JRM Nissan's and the Young Driver AMR, but late setbacks ended up costing them the championship.
