1977 Firebird Esprit with the option V8 engine.
The optional V8 was the Oldsmobile 350, Rochester Quadrajet. Came with a 4 core radiator. Not much for acceleration (2.41 rear axle). I owned this car when I served in the Army, in Germany. That car would smoke every German spec car (rev limiter 250 kmh) on the autobahn. My six years in Germany, I was passed twice at full throttle. Once on an uphill by a Ford Sierra RS, which I believe is a turbocharged Cosworth. The other time, on the flats by a motorcycle. This car, stock, would easily do 170 MPH, all day long, no sweat. Add the custom suspension, custom transmission, blower....
Here we go!

Now for something completely ORIGINAL:
A setting in the transmission settings that allows you to set when GT5 automatically shifts up to the next gear.
There are many cars with power curves that are really, really poor for when GT5 thinks it should shift. There are some tuner Skyline GT-R's that shift at at 9000-9500 RPMs when their max power starts decreasing at about 7500 RPMs. By the time GT5 lets the car to shift up, the vehicle in question has already lost 20-30% of its total power, sometimes preventing the car from accelerating any more to the next gear.

(maybe trying to force you to use it as well 
),that's mostly why I had to learn how to drive MT (also because Drifting).
