We stand at 1st place, with the most gold medals. Although, China almost has as many, but not nearly as many medals overall.

Anyone see that absolute idiot tackle the leader of the marathon - at that point - into the crowd? It was disgraceful. The guy was leading the rest by about 35-40 secs when this monkey runs across the road and tackles the guy into the crowd lining the streets.

He eventually finished 3rd, but it must has totally disrupted any rhythme and focus he had.

Apparently the monkey who tackled him was the same chump who went walkies at Silverstone last year.

Yeah, that made me furious. You know, it was kind of funny at the Grand Prix, but when you screw up something that a man has worked so hard for it is a complete disgrace. I hope he gets locked up for a long time in Greece, there is no excuse for what he did.

Is anyone else sad to see the Athens games over? :(

Well, as a Canadian, it was embassing enough...Kinf of glad it is over now though.... It is time that theCanadian Government upped the funding here so that not only weathly athletes can compete, but the stellar athletes that are not weathy can also have a chance representing our country. I cannot believe we got tongue lashed by even the Chairman of the Olympics !

I'm glad to see the Olympics over (like the retarded judging) but I will miss all the great events and inpirations from it.

I'm not glad I completey missed my favorite Olympic events , like shooting, Judo, Taekwondo, wrestiling and my favorite weightlifting. But, it was still a great Olympics, and I had fun watching what I did get to see in HDTV.

I still have to watch the closing ceremonies on my HD recorder, but I heard it was pretty good. Next stop, China.
