Well, I think that Jordan is going to win the 'most members'!

I run a forums site at forums.giles-guthrie.com, which has 186 members, and is coded from scratch by me.

That's impressive! How long did it take to get it to function?

Well I took a week off work, and did the user authentication and registration side, which is also used by my Fantasy F1 contest. Then I polished off the rest of the coding over the next fortnight. I'm continually improving it as time goes on. It's currently standing at around 50,000 lines of PHP code.

That's insane! Good luck with it! 👍

I plead the fifth. I will say that I hang around the Philosohpynabsurdity, and related, groups in MSN, which I don't know if anyone here is familiar with.

I'm kind of between forums right now. I've never had much success with them, 60 at most I think. My lack of success though is the type of site I had and the reluctancy to update it often. My new site that I'm just starting on now should be a dandy though. Yep, you guessed it....Gran Turismo. This is one of few good sites for GT out there and I thought we needed at least one more.

On my deralta site, I've been toying with the idea of putting up a "family" forum, so that people with the same last name as my wife and I can keep up with what's going on in each others life.

I'm also in the process of building a sample one for my company, as we have multiple branch offices, that transmit info on large projects in a hurried manner.
