you can alter or "flip" a transmission. it's an old technique that if done right you can get max speed and acceleration without having to set the trans to it's max

The track is weird i hardly do conventional races there i just do 3k and test transmission tunes there.most of the time i just do circuit racing.i just wish there was a way to find out how many miles you have driven on each course in general,not just the one you have done the most miles on

No idea if a bug exists or not but believe it or not i do play gt6 daily as i did gt5.i do work,i do have a life.I my usual time spent is 2-7hrs.my race lobbies last from like 7pm-midnight and that's just once a week.I did buy the game upon release,also exploited the 20 million glitch a few times but the bulk of the cash i made in game was just grinding

There seem to be guys here with 5000 to 7000 hrs (see few posts above). how they do that is a mystery to me...
I drive 2 to 3 hrs (almost) every day since I got the game.

Has to be a bug, surely. That's average 12+ hours every day for 15 months. Maybe out there there's someone who has done that, but I doubt that there's two of them.

You couldn't do that and hold down a full time job, for example. Unless your job was to play the game. You'd be working 8 hours, then playing 8 hours a night and 16 hours a day on weekends. Every day, for 15 months. No breaks, no sick days, no holidays, because there's not really any extra time to catch up with. Technically it's possible. Realistically, unless someone says that's specifically what they did I think it's safe to assume bug.

I suspect some sort of glitch where it doesn't stop counting when you leave a race. I had one of those in Steam, I've got something like 250 hours on pCARS just because the .exe didn't terminate properly one night. Realistically I've probably got more like 50-60 hours on it, and I didn't notice until one of my friends messaged me. He'd noticed I'd been playing the same game for like a week straight and was worried I had died in front of my computer. :P
