What custom music do you listen to when in menus or racing? Personally for menus I have Dean Martin and the Rat Pack. And for racing I have stuff like Iron Maiden, ACDC, Black Sabbath, Nirvana etc.

I never would have guessed you liked Metallica from looking at your user name... I'm not really a fan of Metallica... I usually change the radio station when they are on. For some reason their sound is just unappealing to me.

The only bad thing about my selection: I know all the lyrics . I end up singing along and consequently crash.

Dance and rap dont appeal to me, But The great thing about music is that theres always something that you will like. Ahh the beauty of genres!

I tend to take songs from other games like NFS HP, Dirt and Burnout Paradise and put them in one playlist. Although I do have personal favs like U2 and Coldplay. Of course, AC/DC and Van Halen is also in the mix.

Drum 'n' Bass music seems to be good racing music as its very fast and upbeat.

The occasional House music does the job, however I have around 800 songs on my playlist so ive only really heard one song and then I don't hear it for months!

No added in music, just the race sounds themselves is enough for me. I like to hear and pay attention to the race, not be distracted by music. In reality though I like to have something on. Sabbath usually. Of course my JL Audio sub has to be pumping too.

Racing = music off, menus... ok no one judge me, for the menus I have the complete original Fast and Furious soundtrack and I'm going to try and get the menu music from GT2 in there too.

I just have the sound of the engine and tyres when racing, and I like the plinky-plonky camp jazz stuff that comes as standard for the menus, wouldn't be GT without it! My driving music is big phat fuzzed-out guitar trips, like The Machine, Sungrazer, Spaceship Landing, Kyuss, Rotor, Radar Men From Mars, Domo, later 35007, that kinda stuff. You guys would probably dig it big time looking at the bands you are listing out here.

"Dog will hunt!!". No in race tunes for me at least not from the game or custom playlist. But in the menus I'm rocking classic GT 1-4 music.
