10% Ditto Gil and Jpec.

Take my wife shopping like she's never shopped before. Make a definite attempt to burn out her shopping gene.

New Cages for the monsters: $20,000. New Toys $1000. Pretty Convertible for the wife. Invest what evers left after I buy this on the way home:

At least the Porsche looks sleek and dignified. That just looks stupid and rednecky, "on" my opinion. I mean, you can't even drive that on the road! It can go fast in a straight line, Zowee! I just think drag racing is a big joke anyway.

Heh, rednecky. I think its just plain awesome. That duster is just a year older than mine though.

Assuming that I accreud enough interest over a few years, I might buy an old Cosworth Rally machine and go compete in Canada. I hear that's popular up there; that and...well, I won't say.

Blow almost all of it on a new XJ220,and then drive around the country for a couple of years, and charge people 100USD to drive it for 15mins.

You can get brand new, delivery mileage, left-hookers for £150,000, so it wouldn't be all that much.

Der Alta: "Burn out her shopping gene"?? You can dream son!

Don't get me wrong, I like the Duster. But the Porsche is on the ground and the Hemi Duster is on a trailer.
I imagine the Blown Hemi Duster is very fast in a straight line.
So is the 930 Turbo. The 930 is also a very spectacular handler.
You still have the Porsche "oversteer thing" to live with. But to quote Tom Cruise from "Risky Business", "Porsche, there is no substitute."

hmmm...pay the Navy to let me launch golf carts off an aircraft carrier

That would be damn fun, now that I think about it. A complete waste of both monetary and mental capacities (well, the latter can't be applied to everyone), but still damn fun.

Get a mansion. Dodge Viper, Mustang Cobra R, Enzo, Vanquish. CL55 AMG. Rest put it in Stocks.(Microsoft)

"Lift off oversteer's just God's way of thinning the herds."

You can't afford the first thing in that list with just a million dollars. Maybe if we lived in 1950 you could. But then you wouldn't be able to have the cars or invest in Microsoft.

It's quite the Catch-22.

Just on that, Giles how many of those things are still lying around unbought?

If only they'd gone with the XJR-15. That's the car the XJ220 should have been...

id buy all of the piraited software, games, apps ive ever d/led and then id wait another 20 years to get the rest of the money and then probaly waste it on games and crap, o and id buy a house, and a dodge viper, and a golf cart, for running over pedestrians

I'd first go get Toyomoto's Stage 5 1/2 turbo installed on my IS3.

I'd then get that new Cadillac XLR to use as my daily driver.

Take the rest of the money and invest it in pork bellies to finance my new professional racing team and career.

Buy an investment property, rent it out or some****.
Fly to England, kick Brett's arse.
Do up my parents house.
Buy my own house.
Buy and build an authentic Shelby Cobra replica.
And some other cars if I feel like it.
Invest somewhere, I'll ask my Uncle about that, he's a smart one for investing (he only earned NZ$60,000 a year but he has well over NZ$500,000 in investments. I just hope the lovely guy karks it soon so I can have some...)
Spend the rest on family when they come along...

That'd be about 3 or 4 million there.

hell, just the enzo would do it for me. Nice house, college funds, investments. W/E

I would buy:
F50
82 camaro
69 427 stingray
57 corvette
A biger garage

Not that many. 20 maybe? They were all bought by TWR, so goodness only knows where they are now.

Indeed.

I'd put $750,000 of it in the bank. The other $250,000 would be used to get a few cars.;)

My Other plan involves investing wisely till I have 2-3 mill.
Live off of the interest, and do all the other stuff I said earlier.
I'd work some, because I like it. But it would have to be something I thoroughly enjoyed.

A million bucks sure doesn't take you too far these days, you guys can trust me on that.

It's not like 40 or 50 years ago... you can burn a million bucks just buying 1 nice house and a nice car these days.

Isn't it kind of sickening how we would all waste so much money on cars that we would never drive.
