just one small advise , you can't join a tuning prohibited lobby in the stock vantage , you first have to change the rear toe to its pre 1.09 standard which is +0,50 :banghead:
1.09 changed it to +0,20 and this is considered as tuning

edit :

just did a practise 10Lap race at GV with tire wear on fast as stated in the rule book :D
started pretty good and ended with a 10th lap which was 63sec slower than the 2nd

if we're keeping the fast tire wear I'll have at least 1pitstop, if not 2 :D

Can't you just hit reset to default in the car settings menu?
You can't reset the stock susp to default, you have to buy the full susp before.

If you bought your car before 1.09, you must buy the full suspension, then select the stock susp.
If you bought your car after 1.09, you're all fine and have nothing to do 👍

Well that sucks. Good thing I haven't bought it yet. But for future reference, would you have to buy the fully customizable suspension or could you just buy one of the fixed suspension and then switch them?

I'll look into all of this, the suspension settings because of 1.09 (with the Focus, I had to reset the brake balance for the game to be happy, is it different here?) and the tire wear.

Good idea, that would allow us to spend less money to fix that glitch. I'll have to test this 👍

I practiced with amar 3 days ago in the Vantage and he couldn't enter on the track just by reseting the brakes to default. So I told him to buy the full susp and switch to stock susp and it worked fine after that.

Weird, I just done a 10 lapper practice and my tires were 6/7 front - 6/7 rear. Considering I was slow (2:03.5 average) and I'm still learning how to save tires with the wheel :D

To be honest , I might was not very tire saving , but I enjoyed the massive power slide exits :D
maybe, but only maybe, one set of tires are enough for me if I calm down a bit , we will see

I quite like the idea of having to juggle between speed and tyre saving. I should have time for GT6 tomorrow evening, I hope it won't be too late for confirming what tyres we're going to use.

I've managed to do a few laps at GVS and I've made a few observations:

* The sports medium are perfect for this car, it's a pleasure to drive.
* I'm getting roughly the same tyre degradation as Litchi.
* the fuel tank was empty when I reached the pit straight at the end of lap 16.

I'm keeping the tyres as they are, we should have fun finding out who, in the end, made the right call...

Oh and a cheap suspension is good enough to fix the tuning problem.

I'm curious to know if we can slap a number sticker on our Vantages.
Is it now time to add to the 1st post's list of drivers their racing number?

Damn you KKG I was going to pick 32  looks like I'll be using #17

hahaha , no way mate , I own this number for years now , on my bike , my simrig, some rc cars and my licence plates :D
I wonder what reason everyone has for their #
I guess the #93 relates to the alien marc marquez 👍

Sweet! I've been away for a couple days so I haven't played GT in awhile. I heard about the new update and it sounds pretty cool! I'll be number 98

#27 for me please. Senna used it briefly. Hopefully brings me some luck. :D
See you lot tonight.

To me 27 and 28 are Ferrari's numbers forever. :)

I will be there. GVS I kind of like the other two I will try to survive driving 90%

I think I should paint my car with some warning color as I have no idea of correct driving lines or braking points in Monza...
