"The RB26DETT is one six cylinders in line of 2.6 liters (2568 cc), with block in steel and headstock of 24 valves DOHC in aluminum, bi-turbo, that in the Skyline has front and longitudinal setting. In the ZZII, its displacement it was modified for 2.7 liters (2699 cc), the turbines had been retrabalhadas to favor its wadding and reply and the setting of the engine was modified for transversal position in such a way for space question, as to improve the exploitation of the power and torque. The result is that in the ZZII, it it produces 550 54,5 horses to the 7300 rpm and kgfm of the 6000 torque rpm. "

No link.. i found it on some site... all site state it has a RB26DETT Tuned to 2.7L

Ok, why no link? Is it that hard to link it and gain credibility? Or are you afraid that the site you're talking about may not have a clue what it's talking about? Just link to it, and you have all the credibility in the world. Its not hard to do.

Yeah there it is.. its translated so yeah.. it would work. Thats the site i got all my info from. That was the same info i use in my topic ZZII vs S7 thing

here

In Gran Turismo it says that there would be a selection from 2WD and 4WD. ranging anywhere from V6 to a V12. Also said something about the RB27DETT.

You people never thought of the fact that you can get a stroking kit (I beleive thats it, correct me if I'm wrong) that ups the displacement to 2.7L?

stroker kit but yeah. HKS has a 2.8L stroker kit and I've seen a 3.0 Kit...I belive it was Osgiken that made it..not sure, but yeah its an inline 6.

*fires up PS2*

could have swore that it has a great deal about the engine in that little run by about the car under it in the dealership...... if i remember correctly its a 2.7L version of the RB26

Be back in a few with what info i come up with.

you can make your own 3.0L (RB26), from using the RB30 bottom end

what is an RB30? inline 6cyl 3.0L? old skyline engine or what?
i know of the VG30DETT from a 300zx fairlady but it has a V6 so swapping a I6 top with a V6 bottom wont fit, please clarify this.

OS Giken makes an RB30DETT kit for the r32, r33, and r34 GT-R's. The original RB26DETT head works in conjunction with it. Comes with the block, crankshaft, rods, pistons, rings, timing belt, head gasket, etc.

basically it's and RB30 block with usually and RB26 head. Yes it's an inline 6.

RB30 is a fairly old engine (yes it is a IL6), some R31, used them aswell as VL commodores

yes
the RB30 is just another RB series engine nissan made (not a real great engine (due to the head) but can be made to make alot of power aswell), but people like to use it as a cheap stroker kit

no probs
