Come Friday morning, come another new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges, with the special bonus mode for players who’ve completed the core career offering up some new events to tackle.
We first saw Weekly Challenges back in November 2023, and despite a refresh with Spec III it remains essentially the same basic mode. Each week it brings five different challenges to tackle during the seven-day window — beginning at midnight Friday morning in your time zone — with four of standard race events drawn from World Circuits along with a fifth Special Event that’s created just for the week.
Completing the events during that window gives you some bonus rewards along with the prize money for the races themselves, offering a little additional incentive to clean up some of the races you’ve missed along the way or added in updates, with the whole thing adding to your wallet at around 1.3m credits in cash and in kind each week.

Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges – February Week 3 Events
Sunday Cup Classic – Tsukuba Circuit
Really there’s only one low-ball event this week, and it comes in the anything-goes Sunday Cup Classic. The only limitation for this series is a Road Car, and that covers a lot of bases — from the little boxes that chug along in the AI’s hands up to the Tomahawk S and Ferrari Vision GT. We wouldn’t blame you for going for the latter and blasting out this three-lap race at Tsukuba for the 25,000cr winner’s prize.
World Rally Challenge Gr.B – Colorado Springs
There’s a return for the game’s more niche off-road events this week, in the shape of the World Rally Challenge Gr.B series, running over five laps of the bumpy Colorado Springs Lake course. You’ll need a Gr.B car for this of course — but avoid the genuine Group B and WRC cars unless they’re tuned up — and Dirt Tires, but it’s a simple enough race otherwise that awards you 65,000cr.
Lightweight K Cup – Eiger Nordwand
A terrific little event right from the big book of “only in Gran Turismo” experiences is next, as the Lightweight K Cup heads to the Swiss mountains. You can use any of the game’s array of kei cars (and SUVs, and the one kei truck) for this one, with two restrictions: the car must be on Comfort Soft tires, and cannot exceed a hard, 400PP cap. It’s a brilliant, gearing-dependent six-lap battle at Eiger Nordwand, with 75,000cr available for taking the win.
Special Event – Nurburgring
We’re back to the Hyundai Elantra N for this week’s Special Event. No, not that one, but the new TC Gr.4 car added in the 1.67 update. This one-make race, which comprises a single lap of the Nurburgring’s 24hr circuit at sunrise, has no particular restrictions other than the car and while the AI cars have fresh paint jobs they aren’t mechanically tweaked. If you’ve been practicing last week’s Time Trial, this one should be a breeze and you’ll pocket 80,000cr for victory.
World Touring Car 700 – Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
It’s a return for a WTC race in the final slot this week, and a new race added in the 1.67 update. That’s the WTC700 events at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, which will see you pitted against Gr.4 cars in an eight-lap battle. You can, of course, just use the Elantra N TC you used above, but we’d say to be careful with this as an option as the 8x tire wear multiplier might make it tricky as it’s a front-wheel drive car. Wet weather isn’t a consideration, so just keep your nose clean (and out of the pits) for a 140,000cr bump.

Weekly Challenges offer you bonus rewards that increase in value as you complete more of them, alongside the prize money for the events themselves. The bonuses change from week to week usually, but whatever they are they’re sent as tickets to your Garage’s Gifts section. This means you’ll need to redeem them before they expire.
For a second week in a row we’ve got credit tickets in the first two slots this week, with the usual 100,000cr ticket for completing any one event and 200,000cr ticket for finishing any three. Completing all five this week gives a Six-Star Car ticket, which can give you any Brand Central car (including Invitation-only cars) worth 480,000cr or more.
In order to have access to the Weekly Challenges you’ll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie. The events update at midnight local time on Friday mornings, so we’d expect the next set of the new-look events on the morning of Friday February 20.
