Official Gran Turismo Website Gets New Look in Asian Regions

Polyphony Digital launched a new look for the official Gran Turismo website today in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan.

The new site sports a cleaner look and feel, though no content has been changed or introduced. As noted in the official announcement, however, old screenshots, press assets, Gran Turismo TV “introduction pages”, and GT5 Prologue FAQs have all been removed.

Check out the new Hong Kong region site to view all of the new changes with English text. The new template will be rolled out to the European and North American websites at a “later date”.

HeeeeEEEEyyyy!!! …..pineapple anyone? I changed the design, but it’s pretty much the exact same thing as it has been for the past 200 years.

New game must be closer, site ususlly comes first. Guess they dont need to register granturismo6.com as a domain, just update the site constantly

Interesting to note that they have a dedicated GT Academy section for a region that currently does not have the GT Academy Competition yet. The optimist in me says this bodes well for the competition making it’s way further around the world when it returns.

Looks more accessable and cleaner than before to me. I like!

Now, please PD, while you got the web designers around, why not let them design the menu surface for GT6 too. You always wanted it to feel like a PC program, at least make it a good looking one then. :p

Too bad the video/picture gallery will be removed sooner or later from the other region’s pages though, it’s the only source I know to find GT5 trailers in 60FPS since YouTube resizes videos and reduces FPS to 30. Hope they will have something similar for GT6 once material and teasers appear.

Agreed sumbrownkid, i think we have seen the last of the GT5 DLC. I think it’s had it’s time. Onward to GT6 we go…

I still want that Acura NSX Concept to be in GT5…they showed it way too much to not include it in the game after all.

Of course I want GT6 more but since we are not going to get it soon a this can even be a free DLC or coming with an update it can be appreciated.
