Another top quality mod from Ohaha, with new grilles, sideskirts, bumpers and more.

@Leggy1 - Do you need to download all the files in the Google Drive folder or just a selected few. Would be much appreciated if you could list all the mods you've downloaded for the DAF, because it looks absolutely smashing!

Just download the Daf XF Euro6 V1.23 from Ohaha's Google drive for the main mod. However, for some lights, the wheels and mudflaps, I used different mods.

Spotlights and mudflaps (outdated but works fine, and it's in Polish):

Wheels (front 2 axles only), I like them as they are wider and chrome. Adds Renault Magnum tuning too:

I finally seem to have fixed my steering wheel issue, only a day before I have to leave... Guess I'll have to wait a month and hope it doesn't break again!
 
Promods v1.81 has been released. If you paid for 1.8 you should have received an email with a download link. I didn't get the email but the old link to 1.8 now sends me to 1.81. All good :)
 
Trying out the 1.15 beta. Seems to have made Jazzycat's Trailer Packs unusable. When they're enabled, there are zero jobs available. His AI packs still working, though. Already disabled ProMods, so looks like I'll be playing a more vanilla profile for a while until 1.15 is out & the mod community is up to date.
 
It's great that ProMods still works with 1.15! I really like that new interior of the DAF, looks a little bit more subtle and more fitting in general. Just finished a drive from Duisburg to Lahti in Finland. I know that I just pulled 10t, however the torque and amount of power from the 510hp engine is phenomenal!

It seems like that the DAF is as "sprinthappy" as the Actros. Talking of which, do we know (roughly) when the new Actros is going to be released or is this still unknown?
 
Wow, thanks for the heads up, I wasn't aware that we needed to cover ~4500km for the paint jobs. Hopefully it counted my job from Duisburg to Finland already, because that was like a 1800km drive :D

If I remember right you need to use the special "Christmas gift"-trailers (there's a blue and a red one), similar to the one on the picture below. I'm currently on my way to Volokolamsk, Russia. ;)

As far as I can see, they're available from multiple cities, all over Europe, including Belarus which is a part of the Russia mod. They're 22 tonnes, so if you sort the deliveries by weight, they're way easier to find. 👍

Wait... I think there was one in Lahti, to Poland I believe. Let's hope that was one of the Xmas trailers :dopey:
 
Been away for a while and may need refreshed on some things that happened. Is multiplayer still an active thing today? Haven't seem much talk about it recently.

They're currently working on making it compatible with v1.15. It was online for a few days after v1.14 compatibility issues were sorted out, however SCS was a little too quick with 1.15, so I guess we'll have to wait. But I'm guessing that you'll be able to play ETS2MP again next week as the changes weren't this dramatic.
 
On the subject of MP, I'm getting fibre-optic broadband soon, so MP should go much more smoothly :)

Now if only I had the money to buy a gaming pc...

Yeah, unfortunately it does crash for me as well, especially in Sweden and Finland, which apparently has to do with the new dealerships, at least that's what I've noticed. Oh well, let's hope they'll release a hotfix this week/next week.

ETS2 isn't the same without ProMods, it just adds sooo much more to the game.

According to Facebook, there is already a hotfix.
 
I've just gone to download 1.81 from the forum, but have just noticed the files are actually named v182. So maybe v182 has just been released but they haven't announced it yet??

Or I could be completely wrong and they've always been named v182 ha
