Black Friday/Cyber Monday Deals From PlayStation

Hardware 7 November 29, 2019 by

Possibly the busiest shopping days of the year, Black Friday and Cyber Monday give gamers in particular a good opportunity to pick up some new hardware, upgrades, or even just a game they’ve been wanting to try.

Retailers and brands everywhere try to get their piece of the holiday weekend action, and PlayStation is no different. If you fancy upgrading to PS4 Pro before the PS5 comes along, getting a second console, or dipping your toes into the waters of VR, check out the deals below.

PlayStation 4 Pro Bundles

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, PlayStation has cut prices on PS4 Pro bundles to $299.99/£299.99. In Europe this includes FIFA 20 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare bundles, along with a £329.99 special limited edition Death Stranding bundle. The US offers also feature COD, but there’s a Fortnite Neo Versa bundle, and the same limited edition Death Stranding option, all at the same price. You can also pick up standalone PS4 Pro 1TB for $299.99.

PlayStation 4 Bundles

If the regular PS4 is good enough for you, there’s a number of options available. The US site offers an “Only on PlayStation” bundle, featuring a 1TB PS4 together with God of War, Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition, and The Last of Us Remastered, for $199.99. Across in Europe there’s a 1TB bundle including either FIFA 20 or Death Stranding at £249.99, while 500GB PS4s are £199.99 with one of FIFA 20, COD, Fortnite (with additional DS4 controller), or Death Stranding.

PlayStation VR

For those who’ve not got into VR yet, it’s as good a time as any. The PlayStation VR Starter Pack, with headset and camera plus PlayStation VR Worlds, is £179.99. There’s also a PlayStation VR Mega Pack, adding four further titles including TES5: Skyrim VR, for £209.99, or $199.99 in the USA. North American customers can pick up a pack that offers the VR headset and camera, two Move controllers, Blood & Truth, and Everybody’s Golf VR for $249.99.

Other PlayStation Accessories

DualShock 4 controllers and official PlayStation headsets are also discounted for Black Friday. The PlayStation Gold wireless headset comes in at $69.99/£49.99, with the Platinum at $159.99/£99.99. Controllers are available for $39.99/£34.99 in a range of colors, further discounted to £20 in Europe if you also buy a PS4 bundle.

PlayStation Plus and Games

Renewing your PS Plus, allowing you access to online multiplayer, is always best done around Black Friday. There’s a 25% discount right now for the 12-month membership, which now costs $44.99, or £37.49 over in the UK

Games are discounted too, and a number of racing titles are looking good value right now. GT Sport is £11.99/$9.99, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled comes in at £22.74, F1 2019 Legends Edition is £19.99, and The Crew 2 is £14.99 — with the Gold Edition slashed to £19.99.

Remember that all discounts on hardware items are available only while stocks last, and the deals will only remain in place until December 2.
