FIAT’s Got Christmas Wrapped With the FIAT 500 Little Helper

If you’re as bad at planning gifts as us, you’ll face the same story every year. Even if you’ve picked up the presents you wanted, you won’t have wrapped them by the time NORAD says Santa’s at your chimney — and then you can’t find anything to wrap them with anyway.

Well, this year there’s a beacon of hope for you, and it comes in the form of a FIAT 500.

Yes, FIAT has decided to save Christmas for us with a fleet of “Little Helper” FIAT 500s. It’s loaded the cars with all the wrapping supplies you could possibly need, including tape, scissors, gift wrap and even tags. FIAT has even wrapped the cars themselves…

How do you get one of FIAT’s elves to your door? By social media, of course. All you have to do is head onto Twitter or Instagram on Christmas Eve with the #WrappedbyFiat hashtag and ask for FIAT’s help. It has a team monitoring the channels at its “Christmas Gift Wrap Command Center” who’ll direct the 500s as required.

There is one small catch though. FIAT only has four Little Helper 500s, and they’re limited to central London. Nevertheless, if you live in London zones 1 and 2, the elves are on hand right up to 10.30pm on Christmas Eve.

Andrea Lo Presti, FIAT’s marketing director, said:

“The Fiat 500 is a car that spreads cheer and happiness everywhere it goes, so it’s fitting that it should be there for you to ensure your Christmas celebrations go without a glitch. With family stress levels reaching their peak on Christmas Eve, gift givers can relax in the knowledge that if they run out of essential supplies, a response team of little helpers is only a hashtag away.”
