Hey guys I am alive, just busy as hell. Keep racing I will update things this weekend.

Not sure exactly whats considered off track on GVS, I'm not cutting any of the corners around turn 6, but there is narrow strips of rough, cobblestone like asphalt on turn 1 exit and the exit of the final corner..you guys using these or are they off limits?

Checked out one of Syncs 1.27 laps of Laguna, got it here

http://www.ttbikesim.com/community/bycircuit.php/7

I use simple display, so at first I was impressed, but it seemed like he had an awful lot of traction.Switched on Normal display to check out his brake and throttle work. Linked brakes and magic traction control. Still a smoking lap, but I hope he's using Pro controller for this series.

saspo - if they were legal in deep forest, i see no reason not to use them here. i occasionally used the patches on the outside of the last two corners. i usually got my best drive out of the chicane by just using the curb and not going over it.

on the left/right after the first hairpin, ill use the curbing for the second left.

Why not put failures on and you'll soon see if its legit.

pmc - the only problem with that is that the game considers anything not grass, dirt, or gravel legal even if its off track :(

Exactly. Thats why I was curious what other riders thought of certain sections
rather than depend on a program that won't flag you for completely lopping off some corners.

That sucks about your house Snyper, hopefully the scumbags will be caught and have some sort of medieval punishments inflicted upon them :ouch:

[edit - ah, i see where im losing time :), just got a 57.908 :) those rossi rep leathers are a bit questionable though :p ]

Good luck wih The Ring this week I know there will be alot of restarts but don't let the track get to you and try not to break to many controllers LOL.:)

What??!!

you're right tho, *very* questionable, my rider should be wearing the Evel Knieval suit considering all the bones he's broken.

purhapes you should be using the "bones" road out fit instead :p

Just an update guys. I have the internet and a basic computer set back up. There have been no leads to the bastards that broke into my place. I don't see being able to compete in any forseeable future. It is so violating for someone to break into your home, it's definite a worse feeling than them actually stealing anything. See ya around.

SnyperP - shouldnt home/renters insurance cover/replace you missing items?

-Saspo, how do i view that replay, i cant seem to get it to work thru ARmax

extract replay dat file, transfer to usb flash, then goto replays in main menu, goto the icons on the right hand side down till the 4th or 5th, it will say transfer from usb, it will then transfer from usb to memory card.

I don't know anything about AR max, but if it works like a flash drive , it should work just like pmc said, although you may have to create a folder called PDI and put the REPLAY.DAT inside that folder before the ps2 will recognize the data.

on a 600, theres only one part of the track that gives me troubles and thats the left after the long straight. i nearly had a clean 7.13, but, the rear end broke lose and dragged the rear end off track and into the barrier. i managed to stay on two wheels though and got a dirty 7.13.9 :indiff:

just for fun i fired up the yamaha r6 RM and spun these

2'00.803
1'59.600
2'00.576
2'00.249
2'00.511
Total 10'01.734

Thats on GVS default setup on bike default riding style B, only tuning was soft tires.

ouch, the best i could muster was a 7'40.305 and thats with falling once
then again i rarely ever touch the ring

Nordschliefe Time

7'36.750

Great run empty space! Looks like you beat the lap record for the 750 class in the TT Lap Times forum:tup:

we need someone else to run this, mr slick hasnt been seen for ages, why start something you cant commit to, I got a 7:15.478 with one crash but too late to get a clean lap in.

i wish we would have had race threads instead of just this thread. ive some time on the weekends and tuesday/thrusday so i could organize the past few race results if you guys would like?
