I've got an AutoDelta Alfa coming up, it keeps bottoming out though, so I gotta try to fix that tomorrow.

Notes:

*I put the final drive to full, then the autoset to 1. Then I adjusted the final drive gear to match the track. IT doesn't really matter what you put here, depending on the track you are racing it on.

**I find it more fun without aids, but be careful. Although it sounds like a broken lawnmower with rabies with them, I don't want complaints when you need new tires... or a new car.

So, I hope you enjoy it, but I'm no expert on car setups yet. I may come back and add pics, as well as tweak the setup a bit...

I'm in! I am currently building my car right now. I will take pictures and note the parts and settings. See ya then.

The car handles alrite, i think it cna handle better but i'm not that good at setting cars up so i dont think it is at its full potential yet. I am not sure which class the car would be in, the 350hp class, or the 500

Mine's WRX

With a Nissan GT-R and a Mitsubishi Evolution already in their lineup, it only seems appropriate Mines's would do a WRX too. I really only call it that 'cause it's white but it sorta looks like it could be a Mine's car :D

This WRX came stock with a VCD (variable center differential) so that's why there's a setting for it but not a parts listing for it.

This car is for use with any tires from hard sports tires to soft racing tires. For the Tuning Car Grand Prix I used hard racing tires and it won pretty easily (though I didn't win Apricot Hill or Tokyo). It's also pretty fun in the Japan Championship with hard sports tires. This setup also works on most other 1990's WRX's in GT4 though you might need to add or subtract various mufflers or intercoolers to approximate 335 HP. The suspension is OK up to about 380 HP or so but the gear ratios would need tweaking if going higher than about 345 HP. I kept it at this level because it feels well balanced to me at 335 HP.

Best lap at Fuji 90's on hard sports tires:

1'37.484

Well here is one of my favorite cars in GT4(and my best car in GT2:)).

"Too much fun." Three words this car doesn't understand. Originally was a little tail-happy under braking and corner entry, but I've dialed most of that out. Now it just rotates like its life depended on it.

Alright, some great looking pictures and cars have been posted in here so far and I would like to thank all of you for participating.
Thank You!

The first post has been updated with everything up to this point.

Now with that all said, I'd like to make a suggestion...
I would like to see you all testing each-others cars and if you like what you test, or like the presentation made, please rate that post with positive reputation.

Don't go around giving negative rep if you don't like it... Rather, give them constructive criticism on how to improve the design (that way you can spread the positive rep when the time comes).

See, I believe the replies you all make in here are quality posts that deserve credit for being valueable contributions to the GTP. 👍

That said, lets see some more entries and more importantly, let's see some testing and rating for everything submitted so far.

Hold up Kent, there's still one more thing:
Edit again: You know what Kent, I think we should improve on your thought of keeping this ongoing, and make it even less limited. We shouldn't replace old submissions, or limit any mods at all. I would assume everyone in this thread just wants to give other users a chance to drive a fun car, that is much like the real car.

Oh, and my Alfa's 341 HP. 👍

Just wondering if anyone has tried my mazda yet?

I'll try it as soon as it appears in the used car lot... still a long way to go though... is there any other way to get that Mazda? Winning a race or something? :indiff:

As for the other entries I'll try them out too as soon as I have an afternoon to spend in front of my tv/ps2 and feedback will be posted, as well as some clicks on the red check. :sly:

if anyone tries my GT, pm me and let me know what you think of it such as what i need to change, what needs to stay the same, things like that after you post the review of it. i am hoping for some good feedback on the car.

Nope, you have to wait till it appears in the used cars. Its well worth the wait.

I've tested AlfaAlfa's Mine's WRX and the final result is positive. But you might consider staying with just a st.2 weight reduction. When driving in the Ring, the car feels a bit unstable and you have to lift off the accelerator very often. Other than that, it's a nice drive. 👍

GT40 MKII youre FGT is briliant it is currently winning me the Supercar Festival! It just annilates everything! At Fujji it even started drifting some how. Oww if I could kiss you I would but I am bloke so I better not or people might get the wrong impression. :)

Here comes sadly some negative comments about your Ford sadly the brakes arent quite stong enough to cope with the high speed to stopping thing and often spins out of control. Take NY as an example it has the speed on the straights to catch them but it just doesnt corner and brake quick enough.

Im working on a traditinal muscle car, planning on turning a Chevelle inot a track machine. First thing is to win one in a decent colour, i have just won 4 white ones in a row.
