This car is quite a tricky bugger. It's got gobs of usable power and torque at virtually all RPM ranges but since there's so much and the car is rather heavy you need good throttle control to prevent skinning the tires.

Notes: R34's are notorious for heavy understeer while cornering at low speeds. Most notable in the 50-80mph/80-140kph range. This car's suspension setup allows the rear to be firmly planted while having enough stroke to handle bumpy roads and direction changes with minimal understeer. All the while the softer front end combined with very limited slippage and responsive torque settings allow the vehicle to have a fast and precise turn-in

UPDATE:
T-Spec II: Most notable changes from T-Spec I to II are the Drivetrain and Suspension settings. The revised LSD settings allow the car to turn in quicker and hug those corners. That, combined with subtly softer front and stiffer rear spring rates, adjusted toe angles and increased suspension stroke with adjusted dampening rates (GT5 Spec II-tested) make for an incredibly fun car that's also faster around corners.

The means justify the ends, and this car is no exception to that saying. As every car requires different handling technique to truly milk the performance out of it, im sure that any GT-R lover, and all other drivers alike, will enjoy this car where it's meant to be driven... on the Touge!!

A lower tier racing car that i think is very underrated so here's my Track tune for it.

Since i don't have internet strong enough to race online in my new
apartment i've been spending some time tuning cars.
Oddly enough, i haven't been running any FF vehicles so
I wouldn't know about not being able to tune the LSD.
Though FRs and 4WDs have no issue at all.

Funny (kinda) story:

After about 2-3 hours of running these two cars at Deep Forest
and fine-tuning them and trying out some unorthodox setups
trying to get some consistent lap times i have only this to say:

How in the world is Bunta's car so damn fast with
>50hp less and 40kg more than the Lan Evo?!!

In the end the fastest laps i ran for both cars were 0:00.001 apart.
Can you guess which was faster?

PS: I use DS3, so i wouldn't be surprised if any of y'all are capable
of getting much faster times with either cars using a wheel.

There are different views on this. The confusion is to decide on which GT5 tyre is considered a high performance street radial. But currently, the majority has agreed to run the touge on Sports Hard Tyres.

Love the idea of touge at the moment. So i need to try a few of your tunes out.

I was trying to tune a touge spec RX8 last night. I started at deep forest by tried doing it online. I just couldn't get the rear end to settle down. I was drifting all over the place. Get one good lap then a few terrible ones. Then took the same car offline and in to grand valley. It felt like a different car. Rear end was planted on the road nicely. Had no idea on and offline were so different.

I was using sport soft and I think the BHP was around 400.
I'll check some of yours out and see how they do.

Soft tires do have higher cornering capabilities than a hard compound but when you floor it under heavy G loads they are more susceptible to spinning out than hard tires which would most likely just engage understeer as the front tires would start losing grip first.

This is a double edged sword though, the difference from yielding the most grip from your tires and hearing them scream to the point where you push it a little too far and that awesome cornering sensation suddenly becomes you hurling sideways off the track and onto a barrier varies with tire compound

Hard: What I BELIEVE (this is my opinion, not fact) makes S/H tires ideal for touge is their ability to go from full grip to no grip while maintaining control of the vehicle's dynamics and handling somewhat.

Soft: Since you will be cornering faster with a soft compound, those tires' Mu threshold is higher but once you cross that line you will be going faster than with a hard compound and you have a significantly shorter amount of time to react to this loss of traction. Which in most cases will result in an accident which also entails you lost the race.

Also take into account your car's weight balance and more importantly its torque and power bands. Knowing when to floor it and when to feather it is of utmost importance on the Touge.

The most logical reason for just occurred to me while re-reading this. Your suspension is too stiff for Deep Forest. Meaning the you aren't allowing enough stroke for the suspension. Since they are generally slower corners than Grand Valley you need softer springs to allow the dampers to work in unison.

It's all about balance.

All suspension components complement each other.

It's now set at 500pp on sports hard Tyres. Can't remember the BHP level as I'm away from my ps3 at the moment.
I had to add a little weight after stripping all the weight out I thought I'd be better adding a little weight to get to reduce the PP instead of taking all the the tuning parts off.

U have to say i'm really impressed with how it's running at the moment.
I'm still trying amends to the suspension and LSD to see if I can get it any better but it's not to bad.

I'm checking out a few other people's 500pp touge tunes to to see how mine compares.
