What a swell race guys!

Eventful to say the least.. At least I won't get a penalty for ruining your race now.. Phew..

Srry about slowing down under caution. Didn't realize a pile up would ensue. Should have dropped to the back to type. It was difficult to see in the dark I guess.

I would have pitted the first time with everybody if there wasn't a crash. I steered around the crash and away from the pits with Joe. :(

Guys, I would like to hold my hands up for all that happened tonight. The story goes like this.

My setup at home and my tv are pefect for me. But, I was around my mates tonight. Took my PS3, we hooked it up and could get on my game save no problem. The problems I had were a) couldn't seem to sync his earpiece so I couldnt hear you guys on track over the engines, and b) his tv is so old, I just couldn't get it bright enough to be able to see in the dark tonight. Could hardly see my front tyres and it was very difficult to see the gaps of the cars in front of me so I was already on tilt.

But I can't use that as an excuse for the first caution. It was my schoolboy error that I kick myself for, and knew that I was in the wrong place.

I was in third behind Drop and Anarchy (I think) and I was 95% sure they were going to pit. I was most definately staying out but as they went low I tried to catch a little draft (just in case) so I could lead another lap. The two in front braked suddenly (for pits) and I ended up rearing (I think) Anarchy. That gave me instant engine damage and in trying to pit, hit the invisible wall, causing whatever else persued.

My mistake was I should have just stayed high (I even said it to myself half way around the turn, yet still got a little greedy and got caught out) and just stayed out the way of those pitting, letting both groups do their thing rather than worry about leading another lap.

I hold my hands up, and completely my bad. Apologise profusely and will take any penalty handed out. That incident was the catalyst of ruining the rest of the race.

In the caution lap, I couldn't hear what anyone was saying, and couldn't see much as the TV was so dark, so I was having to guess and judge it all. In my massive amount of concentration on these things, and with someone braking suddenly in front of me, I had gotten a little too close and straight behind who ever it was, and damaged again.

I think there was another incident on the bend just before, that I was not involved in or can be blamed for.

So, there, if anyones got any beef, please take it up with me or Tom. I forgot to save the first replay so have tried to make it as accurate as I can remember.

Can someone also please let me know who led end of lap 3, as I had squeezed through the middle of Joe and Tom, to potentially lead it.

I think our tactics were working out well as well Joe, and we were on for a strong finish. Very sorry mate.

As for the second race, what a blast with everyone jostiling and fighting for 4 whole laps. That was awesome.

Apologies again for potentially ruining the race guys.

I don't think anyone will be too angry with you as we all make mistakes, and after all 🤬 happens so it's best to just move on.

I think the guy who's name you couldn't remember was me, but all in all a good race, but I don't like racing there 👎

It would be a decent race there with no cautions and perhaps light damage so a accidental bump draft wouldn't ruin another race.

That's just my view on all of this but all in all a good night apart from the mistakes and a third 4th in a row for me :dopey: (Even though it doesn't count)

Nice to see yesterday was quickly forgotten, Tokyo should be awesome. I love the middle sector of the lap down the almost Eau-Rouge like curve, you can carry so much speed through it barely inches from the wall :D

In other news the short series I planned to run after IndyCar finished may be moved to Saturdays during the regular season. Partly because I can now I no longer have TOCA duties and that two weeks after Daytona I'm off to Madrid which would force a 2 week gap mid-season. All I can say is that the races will be long, two 300km's and two around 250 miles, all with weather change.

Yes but changeability will be very low and chances are in races as long as the ones I've planned, the conditions would change many times throughout the race. Right now it's also going to be multi-class, this is subject to change.

European Le Mans Series, the classes will be LMP1 & LMP2.

Mentiras amigo! (Translate=Lies mate!) It's awesome backwards!

That's because you do it normally in the UK.

Are half points going to go into the standings, for the second race we had?

Not sure if you got the PM mate but it mentioned that no points were going to be handed out for this week 👍

Google translate is your friend  EDIT: Tree'd!

And I've actually decided that for the LMP series, I will run it as the Formula Le Mans class rather than LMP1&2. This means everybody will be in identical LMP's, it'll either be the Audi R10 or Pug 908, yet to be decided.
