I was thrilled to see 3 different winners, even from my last place finishes. Just couldn't get the car figured out online...big difference from the offline physics for this particular car. I don't think a 4th race would have allowed for a 4th winner ;). Great racing by all.

I would be available to race this week in the EDT evening if other are game. Does not have to be formal just bring your Hot lap car and we are in business. just mention day and time of availability.
 
If I am on GT5. I wanted to do the academy tonight, but the next couple of nights I have to finish some toys for my daughters school (by Friday). If I am online with GT5 and anyone is around, I would be up for some practice races.
 
Hopped on real quick tonight to try a couple cars for the VCRC Fuji. Tried a couple of the rally cars from the 80s, not enough gearing for that long straight though. Thinking I will be in the 88 Lambo. With just a couple laps, I am guessing I will be around 500-505pp. What are some of you other guys looking at?
 
I don't think I mentioned this before, but I would consider cars like the art morrison vette and the trans cammer as vintage

I'm going to try out the GT40, not sure if it is slow enough though.

I tried the GT40 but I found it difficult to drive. And really didn't seem to offer a competitive PP. however a wheel user is more likely to be able to finesse it than I was!

Jack we will miss you on Monday, I like the way you posted your time for the leader board, I suggest we copy you and from now on annonce our times like you: MCRC Fuji Entry, we may even want to add : MCRC Round#2 Fuji Entry

It makes it easier to follow the thread. Specialy if we get new members interested to the parity concept, it might help them understand what we are trying to achieve faster.
 
Mike, I had similar thoughts of honoring Shelby with a Cobra run for the VCRC. I will give the premium one a run the next time I get on. I know they are a handful and will probably result in a lot of me spinning. Still worth it considering the latest events.

It is a big handful, plus on the straight you have to hold the throttle so you don't bounce off the rev limiter.
 
I tried the Shelby for quite a while. I got it in the time slot, but man was it an awful fight. I just don't see having the ability to race it without becoming extremely frustrated.

Maybe the next round could be a Shelby hommage. If we all drive the same car we all have to be carefull. If we want we can also put softer tyre at the back. That is the way I usualy drive my Cobra. It makes it more like the real thing. I have a friend who has a replica and it does not behave as bad as the stock gt5 Cobra. Also the original Cobra had much wider tyres in the back than in the front.
