Dear Mr. Rhodri Williams,

Regarding your T500 RS.

We would like to know what do you refer to when saying "throttle".:dunce:

Thank you for your collaboration.

We are looking forward to your answer.

really WTF

Oh my! That's hilarious.

that's so funny!!! you should answer
its that little thingy sticking out you press to go faster next to the other thingy you press to go slower offcourse there's that other thingy you press to change gears next to that one:lol:

The Supra is way faster than the Loctite, kills it for speed, but a good LSD and gearbox is required.

I've used a combination of other GT 500's settings but a specific one for it would no doubt work better.

Until Killer sorts one out later.

yes the supra is faster even with 599 PP (I cant make it reach 600)
i'm running consistent mid 47s with it, and hopefully will break into the 46s.
my lsd is 9/14/5 (borrowed from adrenalines takata)
my gearbox (modified praiano):
3.878
2,763
2.152
1.699
1.386
1.168
final 3.465 makes 278 kebabs
this combo is quite good, active steering makes no difference to me,
it seems no AS is a bit faster if you don't have a heavy foot.

That is a fast time, I can only do low 1:49 with a base tune, just slap a turbo, shorten the gearing, max aero, I did it with no ABS, the car slides on entry and exit of some tight turns, pretty exciting :D

Thanks RIDO, it's all that DeadNutsEven experience helping out...:sly: I dislike TT's for the most part, I usually run 3 or 4 clean laps and then I'm bored. I tried the Yellowhat to see how it compared to the Takata Dome I ran earlier, that was in the 47's somewhere. I didn't put any effort into tuning, just altered the toe, camber and LSD a bit to where I thought it should be and fired it up.

Yup. If you get in the car in your garage, change the Brake Balance or anything in the settings then go to GT Auto and do stuff in there the changes won't be logged. It will still be 0/0/0 but with an oil change or new paints scheme or aero etc.

Hmm tested this and no if I leave garage and do oil change car becomes 1/0/0.

Sounds like one has had an oil change :)

neither of the cars have had an oil change

just going to have a go at motegi and have 3 Takata dome nsx 03's just wondering whilst they are all 0/0/0 cars 2 are 472bhp 572pp and the other is 486bhp 577pp why the difference I wonder ?

with oil change they go 495bhp/580pp & 511bhp/585pp

One could have been from a ticket and the other from the OCD. Ones from tickets are not broken in and OCD cars are. Both are still 0/0/0 but the OCD car will always have more miles from the start compared with a car from a ticket.

I said once you get into the car in your garage, change the Brake balance or something else in the settings, then go and change the oil.

I've been using the Woodone Tom's Supra '03 since the update yesterday.
Previously I had been using the Takata Dome for a best time of 1:48.2xx or thereabouts. Last time I used that car I was languishing in position 508.
Since getting in the Supra, I've been whittling away my time, tweaking the setup for a best to date of 1:46.475. And I think I can get to 45's with a little luck.
So undoubtedly the Supra is much quicker than the Honda. I'm not sure if it TWO seconds quicker, but I certainly felt more at home driving it which I think has made up the difference in apparent performance.

If the Yellowhat is quicker, everyone will jump to it... no point in making life difficult for yourself!

Shame, as the NSX is a great car to drive.

I know that everyone wanted to drive the fastest car possible, I am just really excited to see how the new update will even up the field of GT500 cars or it might widen the gap on some models. 2.10 NSXs, will they keep up with some of GT500 cars that had PP reduction?

right ok that explains things thought i'd got a special one
sorry mis-read the "change settings bit :dunce:
cheers 👍

It's hard to know exactly how much faster the Yellowhat is until some of the fast guys give it a go, but it looks like it's a full 1-2 seconds faster.

Soon as Amo gives it a go we'll know exactly how much faster.

No way the NSX can keep up with that scale of gap.

I gave the Supra (woodone) a blast and was running 1.3secs faster than my Dome time for a low 46s.

Can't seem to beat that time with the Yellow - hat atm but I haven't got my tune sorted yet-too much under and oversteer

I'd have to say about 1.5secs maybe 2secs faster.

With the Yellow Hat YMS Supra, do engine stage 3, high turbo, max aero, 10kg ballast ( 1100kg), and 651HP at 600PP, should be a lot faster than the woodone :D The YMS is at the top now with 1:44.757.

Thanks for the advice 👍

I did all that but mines running at 640hp/599PP.

Its a zero miler so I'll have to Bspec it for 400 miles or so and change the oil again-it's definitely faster than the woodone 1 though :)

I think you are over estimating Amo's skill. I would say he could get a high 1:43 at the most.

My estimate is not so much based on his skill as a based on his time relative to others...

The guy currently in 1st place has a previous highest TT rank of 39, but doesn't have a lot of other form, so I'd say he's no alien.

His time in the Yellowhat is 1'44.7.

Given the usual gaps between 1st and 50th place, I don't think a 1.5s gap is an unrealistic expectation. I'm no alien either, but I can do better than 39th when I put some effort in - before all this kicked off I was in 20th place, but still >0.8s behind Amo.

He'll be sub 43.5.

I realise that but there are some seriously fast people up there right now like Shooter and khmnt who usually don't focus on TTs. Also, if you look at 2nd place right now, it is heald by vincho who regulary finishes in the top 10 is still 2 tenths behind the leader.

Wonder if Adrenaline will switch cars?

I haven't messed with this time trial since the day it came out. I put 1 hour into it, and that's all I'm going to put into it. Especially now with this change, which renders my previous hour a complete waste of time.

I lost 5 positions in a day before the update.
In the day after I lose 33.

lol, and my save wont load after 2.10

I could believe it if he uses the YellowHat. My ET dropped dramatically with the Supra vs the NSX. Supra handles differently for sure compared to the NSX. Since he managed his ET PRE update with the NSX...dont see why he could not now 👍

Could someone explain the 'no oil change' to me and how to do it?:dunce: Do I want the car to be broken in or should it be 0/0/0? I have tried with standard cars purchased from the UCD and the numbers didn't seem to match up with PP, HP, and limiter % that people are saying they have. Does the oil not wear out with Seasonal TT's? Thanks for helping me out. I admittedly don't do these often and am used to WRS events where you break the car in and oil light has to be off.

So far the two cars that I have tried did not have any oil changes to them. Takata NSX with a Stage 3 took it right into PP600. The Supra YellowHat has like 855miles on it from previous usage. It seems that the PP does drop as I just messed around with the TT. Started off at 660HP and now at 659HP. May have to do an oil change and add weight to the car.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

It only really effects a couple of cars significantly (GSX & 2J), and only then if you're fighthing for 10th's at the very top of the leaderboards.

Most cars makes no difference.

Thanks for sharing! It's awesome, my time is 1:30.451" ... 836th
My new record! Can be rank upper than 850th :sly:👍

Just putting this out there, the difference between the Takata DOME NSX and the YMS SUPRA 05 is pretty extreme.
My Takata DOME NSX:
560hp, 1172kg, slightly less then default aero. 600pp
My YMS Supra 05:
646hp, 1090kg, full aero. 600pp
Difference of 86hp, 55% aero, 82kg. Zero pp difference XO?

The reign of NSX and GTR are over, now Supra is making a comeback  PD must have struck a deal with Toyota, many of their cars getting PP deduction.

Weird..
Ran previously a 1.47.025 with the NSX,and noticed the major switch yesterday to the Supra.
Used this car in previous WRS75,and suits me way more then MR cars in general.
Although this track is not my favourite, the difference with vehicle specs between the NSX and the Supra are huge indeed.
Must be doing something very wrong with just a 46.997 with the Supra :grumpy:

1:47.025, I'd die for it, ha ha.

However I'll settle for my latest time of 1:48.626 (back under 1,000 for a while, #957 and inside my usual 4 sec's off the lead ) in the Supra, thanks Killer.

I found that the Supra doesn't corner as well as the NSX, may be just me, but it was pronounced. Of course seeing the NSX way back there in the rear view mirror on the straights is a real booster.

Haven't even looked at the other race yet, better do so.

Just make sure its loose enough and soften the front. I did about 5 laps and improved to a 1.46.6 with all aids off (including ABS).
