I tried tuning a GTR R35 to 836Bhp and I could keep up with the Sauber Cars but they just beat me in the corners even Team Ocera Viper GTS beat me! That sucked anything else?

I don't know if the Nissan R390 Road Car would keep up, but if it's tuned well it might be able to do great in the corners. I've never really driven it myself.

Oh yeah I tuned it on Gt4 but I 4got the information, but sure it is really good, not sure why it has such a stupid short ratio that I overlapped it on the Supercar Event with my C63 AMG Tuned to 860Bhp at Daytona 500

Speed 12

Veyron

ZZII

Aventador

Viper ACR

R390

Ford GT

All could do it with the right tire strategy and some luck with the weather.

FORD GT( the Gulf livery version) that you win in the Super Car Seasonal handle and are fast. Plenty of grunt out of corners.

He wants a road car not a race car.

Edit: oops, sorry about the double post

How are we defining road/race here? Is it just like a racing paint scheme or adjustable front downforce that makes the difference?

While there is seemingly little to separate them on face value, in GT5 the ones with the racing paint schemes and front downforce parameters are faster through the corners ...maybe because of the front downforce? I am not sure but they do seem to be superior to road cars tuned to the same level.

More Downforce = More Grip = Better Cornering

^ In a nutshell, yup... So the TommyKaira ZZII or TVR Speed 12 have normal paint schemes (like street cars) but they also offer full downforce tuning (like a racecar). Some drivers would call them racers, others would call them street cars.

Generally when I'm racing with friends, we consider anything with adjustable nose down force as a "racecar" (and thus ineligible for street car races).

For what it's worth, there are a handful of full street cars that will take on (non-adjustable) nose down force from the aero parts in GT Auto (the Aventador is one).

That said, I suspect that our young questioner may be in trouble with his R35. Even after a VCD and LSD tuning a lot of 4wds are still super tight in the corners...
