Sigh, I've been lucky to not be plagued with GT6 server issues until now I suppose. Have a good race guys. Annoying because Daytona Road is sort of a specialist circuit for me, seem to always go well there.

Edit: Watching the race (annoyingly!) - big crash for GT300s on Lap 3 or so. I think 4 out of 6 cars involved. Not wise to try that sort of overtake (outside pass) at that type of chicane imo.

Shame you weren't there to give Pasm a fight.

On that move... :yuck:

Always someone thanks kamy

I would like to see you try that on real life. You would kill both of us

A truly awesome race tonight, a 23/24 lap battle with ghost. Racing right from the start, our pace was extremely even. Swapped positions on pretty much every lap. Some great, super close, wheel to wheel racing, and only a couple of friendly nudges between us here and there! With our pace so even I knew the only way one of us would pull away was if the other made a mistake or got stuck in traffic. And luckily the traffic fell my way on I think lap 23 giving me a 3-4second lead over ghost which I managed to maintain, under a lot of pressure. I knew one mistake and ghost would be right back on me! Unfortunatley I got disconnected on lap 28.5! But I appreciate still being handed the win! Think I would have had it :) Shame to hear about some trouble further down the field and in the 300's! Daytona is a tough circuit for racing on the edge!

If anyone could send me the replay it would be much appreciated!

I'll post the replay on pure for you lozza. As ghost is a gentleman you'll still get the win. Last gap was 2.9s so I'm just going to carry that forward.

The bus stop pile will be reviewed.

Here's the preliminary results. GR.

That chicane (the bus stop) is intense, I spun there on the warm up lap going about 60  I was holding my breathe going through there on every lap

The Scooby looked a lot looser through there. The understeer of the gtr teamed up with the aero to keep the 500 planted. Only needed to worry about braking for the entry. T1 however... Was pants wetting.

You mean wifi? Don't use wifi on GT, thats a Sin
It's wired through the router AND I placed the PS3 in a DMZ*. I have zero issues when I hook it up directly to the modem but I ran out of time to go this route today.

* At least what my router docs says is one but I'm suspecting it doesn't work properly.

I tried wireless out, it seemed to be working fine until the race, everyone disappeared, and I didn't have time to try to work issues out. Looking forward to Brands Hatch.

Not looking forward to the tiny grids we're going to have. Maybe @Wardez should poke people, this probably isn't a track where we can just multi-class it rather than two grids of 6. :/
Yeah. It's a shame all people sign up and so few participate. :/
I haven't been enjoying to much, between the car not suiting me and all the mistakes I'm doing :P but I try to keep on it

I'll go back to hooking directly to the modem for Brands. I did just buy a Buffalo router but that won't come until next week and there's no guarantee that will work any better.

Yeah it's a shame about the low numbers. These races are a lot of fun, but they would be even better with full grids! Don't know why so many people dropped out of this series. I think we could cope with multi class at brands if we need to though. We are all sensible drivers :)

I'll be there of course, will be nice to get a bigger grid than previously, but as has been said I think we could cope with multi-class as a 'last resort', hope it doesn't come to that. Hoping for a good result at my 'home' race

Hi there, I hope it's not too late to register for the Brands race in the GT300 class - I've signed up to the website and registered my car colour/number etc.

Hopefully I'll be allowed to race... please somebody let me know if it's OK...

Hi aboe! Nice to see a fellow GTF driver interested in this series! :) Can't see it being a problem, as numbers are a little bit low at the moment! Just make sure you get your qualifying done before deadline! 6pm Sunday, UK time!

Hey lozza :) Thanks matey. I'll be available to qualify either later tonight or during the day on Sunday (which would probably work better as I have a few races today and you never can be sure exactly how things will go atm with lag etc)

See you shortly

Hey guys... is anybody about now as I'm available to do my Quali...?
I'm around for an hour or two before I have a race so thought I may as well get it out of the way now, if possible.

Thanks.
