RE Amemiya dealership. I think it's in the North America dealership, but I would have to double check.

@ euclid58 how'd you do? Are we loosing you to Div2?
 
We had about 10 total in all divisions. Division 1 had the most drivers.

We seem to have a new issue/problem. We had quite a few black screens at the start of both races. Race 2 had several that stayed black well after the race started.

That happened to me. I quit the game then came back in and did ride alongs for the second race. I had a great time in the first race it was really competitive.
 
Hey turtles I've been kind of away from gtp and racing online for quite some time..and here's the latest update to my race car almost ready for Stickers and it is running now

The race car began as a regular 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse

And this is where I am now

Funny! Just got a trophy "Three Miraculous Laps" for practicing with the midget in arcade mode for the upcoming race in two weeks.
 
Hope the races went well last night! I'll be back on this week, finally getting a little bit of a break from school and I just finished all the work on my motorcycle. Though I think I may have gone a little overboard with my new helmet...

me and dolph were talking about it last night, as we've (well me occasionally, lol) have only been doing race cars for a while. possibly ppl are getting drained from grinding (which i don't have time to do) and it's losing interest for some. we had big turnouts with the street cars, and maybe the car selection between street cars and race cars should be mixed up more for a little variety, and also cutting down on the painful grinding. just food for thought. congrats for hector the beast last night. as bubbles said, a machine! lol

Maybe money could be an issue for some. I don't know. I assumed 4 months in that people had money for cars.

I only race in TRL Enduro, Flex, and HST. I've already completed every race and Seasonal payouts are stupidly low. I don't have much.
 
Great job by Hector on both the wins last night! 👍

Race 1 was frustrating for myself as it looked like it was going to start out all fine and dandy as I qualified 2nd (and was on pole until Hector knocked me off on his final qualifying lap :mischievous:). But then when it came time for the race to start, I got the loading screen, which then continued to load...and load...and load.... Some others got black screens, but were able to race after the screen went away. My loading screen never did, and I had to exit the game, missing the race entirely. When I came back, I did get to watch a fantastic battle for 1st between Hector and Bionic. Every lap there was at least one change for the lead, if not a couple.

Race 2 was a lot more fun to me because I actually got to race. Unfortunately, the field was thin after 3 separate drivers got the never-ending loading screen (and maybe some black screens for others as well, but I'm not sure). I pulled over on the outside of turn 1 because it was a reverse grid, then had to make my way through the field. And since there was so much chaos with cars having to swerve around others at the start, I had a lot of time to make up after the final car passed by me. I ended up having a great 4 way battle with Bionic, gears, and lightning for a few laps before Bionic broke away from the pack (Hector was long gone in the lead). I continued to have a fun battle with gears and lightning before I was finally able to break away myself. I pushed hard trying to catch up to Bionic for the last segment of the race. And it paid off, as I had just enough time, passing him for 2nd before heading into the tri-oval coming to the stripe on the last lap. Looking at the replay, I cut down my time to Hector from 24 to 12 seconds by the end of the race when I finally was able to clear gears and lightning. I just wonder how good of a battle I could have had with Hector had I not had to drop back in the 2nd race. And I think there may have been an interesting 3 car battle for the lead in race 1 if not for the loading screen issue. :sly:

I really enjoyed the car and track combo, to say the least.

I know here at work they do server maintenance every night, it doesn't stop you from getting on, it just makes them extremely slow.
Could that explain the black screens and loading?

I'm a little concerned about the lack of information for this week's race though... There are a lot of Miatas.

Finally... all done... I can come back now and everyone can start showing up again. I'm exhausted and my new rig has been being neglected. Annoying.

EDIT: Also, I'm curious to know the results with the cars... which car did best?

Just leave the Miata part to me. I know there is a LOT of them, and I know the Matterhorn is not a very flat course, but I'm trying.

The custom wing is actually not bad, in my eyes. Now we can make wings loom cool compared to the preset ones.

I tried the short course, and it works, but do I really want to make you guys go short track racing? Well, maybe. I'd would have to try out the others.

Would that be a nice 80 lap race or around there? That would be fun! Maybe Rotenboden and Riflesee are a bit to much for the Miata with the uphill sections. Dristlen is kind of boring, and the Short Track is... Well... Short.
 
The uphill sections REALLY drag it down. It's like Deep Forest Reverse with Suzuki Cappuccino RM, only WORSE.

well, in the past 4 months, i've only done some of the flex's and sat night enduros. maybe 8 total. i have not done any career or other online races *shrug* life is busy.
