Is it American dollars or is it $100 in local currency? Because with our economy going to hell, this is a big difference here now...
Sorry Flip, but offer ended at noon est, lol!

ATTENTION to anyone in KOQ for tonight's race.
I will send you $100 if you choose not to run!

. . . Any chance you could make it American currency?
Just pointing out that he already did indicate it was in US currency, as he used the $ symbol, not the symbol for Canadia's currency. Actually, I don't think my American keyboard even has that key mapped - where is the leaf symbol on your keyboard? Or is it a curling broom? I always forget . . .

We use the $ for our money too, as it would be too cumbersome to create a new key with a nice ass for our money.
Actually, that's not a bad idea....

There is a chance I will not make it home in time for tonights races. If we have more than 6 KOQ drivers, the alternate should standby in case im not online by 8:55 to take my spot. @Wardenclyffe or @Zii1993 will host tonight

KOQ will have 6 spots open tonight in any case
Since one of the top ten are not going to make it, does the guy (me) who is tied for tenth get in free?

Actually, I do believe that $ is not American dollar symbol as it has to have 2 vertical lines while this one ($) only has one. I do believe it's a Mexican peso.

Good eye! I had to bust out my magnifying glass to verify that you're right, it only has one line.

I'm joining flip's practice lobby as I type this. If they're racing, I'll start a new one as I have to do a mock race 'cause I have yet to practice . . .

Sorry but no. It just opens another spot for koq.

KOQ lobby is open. Apologies for the late notice here; my PC hung up and took forever to come back online.

7 on track, 6 slots available.

These road courses this week just do not agree with me. Very tough and unforgiving.

A good fun night of racing, had my best finish's yet!

However, I feel I need to express some of my views about the racing. I've started to notice a trend after almost four seasons here. As each season has progressed, I find the racing to get more aggressive and people to start pushing the boundaries of good race craft. The thing I notice the most is the lack of patience in some. This results in passes that should not have happened or contact that didn't need to happen. I also feel that some need to notice the bigger picture as well, meaning take a look down the road and if you see the driver ahead of you is going to have to slow down a bit to avoid contact in front of him, then be prepared instead of slamming into the back, knocking him out or ghosting through. Our races are 40 minute's, lots of time to plan out our maneuvers.
As filing IR's is not something that is common here, I feel that some try to get away with more than what they would be able to on a Sunday night, for example. Maybe, as I'm not quite the fastest guy in the field, I see more as I get passed more often, but fast or slow, good race craft still needs to be on the mind.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm whining but these things need to be said, if anything, to make us sit back and think a little more about what we do on track. I am just as guilty as others sometimes, s**t happens. It just seems to me that the racing was a bit cleaner when I started and bad race craft was not tolerated. I am sending pm's to a couple of drivers about stuff I was not happy with. IR worthy, not quite, but common courtesy while racing is something that should happen during the racing as well.

I have a lot of respect for many of the guys here and still enjoy the racing very much in this fun series.

Still fighting for that elusive top ten!
Aero

I watched @aerolite replay and if I were him I'd be filing some reports. And if you raced near him last night you might want to watch the replay again and self report. He got pushed aside by a couple of people who tend to push people aside fairly often.

This guy is someone we could all take a few pointers from. Watching the first lap of race 2 he got into Flip slightly at the tight S section (not gonna lie...I was ready to jump on aero for being a hypocrite about bumping people) but then let him by when it was safe to do so on the front straight. Just a class act.

He held those boys off as long as he could until they started pushing him off line, getting his rear end loose in corners and blasting past him as he struggled to maintain control without spinning.

Those are the frustrating moves (that are just as illegal as anything else) that do not cause an accident but still cause them to gain a position on you and you to lose at LEAST one position. Someone behind you gives you a tap in a corner, you get loose, and they go past (along with anyone else behind them).

Good job aero! Stick with it. I recognize your exemplary race craft and attitude.

Euclid was racing with someone last night in front of me (with a wolfpack of cars behind me), he got a little loose while in that battle and ghosted right in my path. I had to make a decision...hit the brakes (and possibly cause more mayhem behind us) or go through him. So I went through him. Felt a little guilty but I justified it thinking I was saving a wreck behind me ;)

I had a horrible night last night, couldn't string together 2 laps together without 🤬 something up, so if I, in any way, did something that got in the way of anyone, I'm truly sorry and will accept any punishments, public shaming and fish slaps that come with it.
It just didn't work out for me yesterday and I apologise for it to everyone.

You were hauling butt last night in Race 2 behind me near the front but hit the edge on that last corner and spun. Keep at it!

Personally aero I feel the IR system is there to teach just that. If you were wronged file an IR so that those who are aggressive can learn from their mistakes. (Hopefully)

I did that throughout the two races. Two, three good laps, a spin, race screwed. It wasn't a good night...
And I ended up a lap down in Race 1, which was pretty disheartening, since I wasn't that far off in pace, it was just too many damn mistakes....

Welcome to my world. Last night was the first time in months that I didn't crash once.

I did not race last night and have not watched the replays so just my two cents. I was IR'ed for an incident in touring car series. I was guilty of aggressive corner driving. My fault. That said, my thoughts are these. I ran RCS a few seasons back and it was Ultra Clean! After a few seasons away I returned to TCS and RCS. I believe things are more aggressive/less respectful than I remember. I am guilty of a bad move on a fellow driver and am rightfully on probation for it. That driver knows I am sorry and I believe we are good, BUT, I do believe that the move I made was precipitated partly by this more aggressive attitude overall. My move, my fault. No one else's fault. That said, I miss the old attitude. I chose these series for that attitude. I look forward to the next chance to race with these fine drivers and look forward to my part in protecting clean respectful racing for us all. Even us slow guys. Lol.

Maybe we should race with some slower cars? First seasons of RCS were Subaru Impreza TC and Nissan Silvia RM. Not high in the HP department so overall pace isn't as fast. More time to calculate while driving. The current TCS and RCS seasons are high powered race monsters.

B O P Racing wraps up the night

Regardless of the bumping there was a great battle for 8th through 12th or so in race 2. I wonder if next week is a one stopper as well

It should be unless you misread your notes ant add 10 liters instead of 40 liters.

Im more amazed at the tiresthan anything. Maybe because the GT500 has more downforce than the Camaro?

Thank you grim for hosting an amazing series race! I'm glad everyone was able to stay connected through both races. The one pit strategy is definitely getting interesting, the first race i took not enough fuel, while the last race i took a little extra. Definitely some pit strategy going on!
