We don't go easy on rookies that are in three man teams and within 3 points of team championship. Tell your alter ego he's gonna need to throw some laps down before Wednesday.

Tskuba is one of my favorite tracks to run on and i have already logged in over 100 laps on the track with the car. Can't wait for wednesday

If only I didn't have to work late last week then it would be 4 teams fighting for the championship but anything can happen this season.

Alright

I'm excited to hear you have a wired connection now! I'm going to throw some useless information out their that really helps a lot & and I know Grim mentions this at least once per season but make sure to clear your cache the day of the race. MY STEPS to good quality racing
  1. Run GT6 disc
  2. OPTIONS > NETWORK > CLEAR CACHE
  3. SAVE GT6
  4. QUIT GT6 to the XMB menu
  5. SIGN OUT OF PSN > DELETE ALL (RECEIVED/SENT) messages
  6. TURN OFF PS3
  7. TURN ON PS3 > SIGN INTO NETWORK > RUN GT6 > keep PS3 standing upright while using a Big BOX FAN to blow air all the way around the PS3 so it can ventilate properly. < after doing this for several 40 minute races all the way up to 2hr long endurance races I rarely ever have an issue. The box fan helps a lot, so does deleting your messages for some odd reason. So far I have done a 4hr long race with no issues, but also ran a 2hr long endurance race before this series started one night, did both 40 minute races and still no lag or power issues. Just like my name states "TEAMworkPLEASE" haha
sweet will do!!

If I could only ask for one thing from this Racing Series, how come we are not using Heavy damage? I don't want to discourage anyone, just my personal opinion.....Heavy Damage would make the Series more authentic no? Again this is just my personal opinion, not trying to change any rules, just looking for the reasoning of light damage. Any additional information i can obtain heightens my knowledge about this series.

*note* In the future I'll refrain from texting during the race, as I was entering the pits I made a remark about me leading 1 lap. It's been awhile since I looked over the rules so I'll keep that in mind next week. Also I would like to apologize for the rough action inside race #2 directed toward WARDENCLYFFE < I was trying to stay to the inside as much as possible but no matter how many rumble strips I jumped over for some reason no over steer was received, I really under estimated the stability of this honda. Although I'm glad we are driving slower cars, but you could call me a racist since i can't control the faster race cars due to the extra abilities the wheels have over the controllers. That is clearly no one's fault except Polyphony Digital for not making all peripheral devices equal, not sure how to make that more black and white but its obvious that their is already too much grey area when it comes to these peripheral devices. On another note...Can't wait to see everyone next week!👍
I had thought about heavy damage in the planning stages of the series. Decided to go with weak as not all drivers are near the same skill level. We have guys from d1 to d7 on the same track and there is bound to be contact from time to time that is a result of inexperience and didn't want that to severely impact the race. That's not to say it wont be changed in the future is though

Count me in for 10/29/14! *quick question grim - Does the All Start Entry Qualification list rotate based on the season(s) because I know i made it to 1 All Star race, but I also know I have not participated in 2 our of 3 seasons Prior to this season. So I guess I'm curious, if i make it all the way through this season > will I be put back onto the ALL STAR Entry list?
I'm on my phone so I'll keep it short. Look at my he OP and it explains how you earn spots in the all star race. That said, the list to is ever changing based on performance. You could be in one week and get bumped out the next.

The big problem with this track will be passing. There is no place to pass so be patient. Whoever qualifies in front will stay there and on down the line. You may gain or lose a position in the pits but I don't care if you have a thousand laps here...you can't pass unless someone REALLY screws up, or you divebomb someone.

When I used to run sundays this was the case when we ran the Mazda Miata TC there. It was just a line of people with nowhere to go.

I have already resigned myself to finish in the position I qualify in because there will not be many opportunities with this group ;)

I looked it up! :gtpflag: thanks for the feedback, now I know how to get in!

With all the different divisions it makes sense! Thanks for answering my question.

Aint that the truth, speak it sister. The wild card will be Parcells second driver not sure how he'll handle the immense pressure.

Been meaning to ask you Joe about your avatar which brings back so many awesome memories, what a great and classic show, right up there with Seinfeld but lets not kid ourselves. Curious how well you know/remember the show that provided some of the all time classics for Parcells like Seinfeld's "the contest". Most of my memories of Taxi revolve around Mr. Jim Ignatoski (sp?) of course.

There was the memorable pac-man episode paying Jim in quarters, what a riot but 2 quotes that I'll never forget are "Peru, before the rains" and "s l o w d o w n" now please tell me you also remember these shows/quotes vividly and/or I've insulted you by even questioning such nonsense. If it makes a difference Parcells respect for you will go up or down proportional to your response...yes I'm that shallow.

Serenity now!

Whaat doooeees a yeeelllooow liiiight mean?

I have a feeling we may have identical tv show likes :)

I'm working 4-12. I hate missing testing...

What tracks are you testing at so I can get my own solo time in? Or I can set up a room when I'm available and have it be the same tracks.

I don't have that info with me as I'm at work. Sorry

No worries. Post it whenever you do and I'll write it down for reference.

Good turnout for tonight's practice race and learned a lot on how to work the pits and fuel. Going to be very interesting to see how this plays out tomorrow night!
