Gonna be fun tonight - I want to thank @WaLT_100R for being generous with his time after we raced last night for helping walk me through the racing line for Tsukuba...

All of you guys have been awesome for a newbie like me this season. Thanks to all.

If anyone is interested Parcells will be running a practice race tonight while KOQ is going on.

I’ll be starting the race around 7:50’ish but it will not be a timed race…it will be enough laps to last more than 40 minutes…I like to have extra laps so I can gauge how many laps I expect the 40 minute race to be plus after 40 minutes I may require another pit stop to finalize my race strategy.

Knock-Out Qualifying Lobby is now open - 1472-4711-0167-3381-7396

Six positions are up for grabs in tonight's Knock-Out Qualifying session. Top 6 lap times from tonight's Knock-Out qualifying will advance to the Main Event. Top 10 confirmed drivers, please do not enter the lobby until KOQ is complete at around 8:45 eastern. I will update the thread and lobby title once we are finished with qualifying.

As a reminder, prior to anyone joining the lobby (KOQ or Main), please clear your cache to help ensure quality connection.

Thanks

KOQ Update - 5 drivers on track for 6 spots

KOQ Update - With 10 mins remaining, still only 5 drivers on track for 6 spots. Interesting turnout so far

Based on last week's issues on a track with no run-off and this week's track being so narrow, I decided to take the week off.

Sorry to hear that Zii. Thanks for posting though. I did give you 15th place in the second race
And my wheel stand falls apart mid race.
That sucks. I'll have a talk with the team manager back at the shop and give him an ear full! Hang in there and get um next week

Thanks for putting up with my D8 mistake in the first turn of race two everyone. So much respect for the clean racing that went on in there tonight.

Another excellent night of racing in this series. Wish I could of represented my team better in the second race but a lag spike got me on lap 24 and well you know. Least Parcells hung in there and kept us close in the team running I hope. Excellent competition and excellent racing on a tight track.Oh btw nice qualifying times everyone!

Yes, that was alot of fun.. I have no clue if I was in the way at the beginning of Race 2 but all you fast folks blowing my doors off and Im just trying like H.E. double hockey sticks not to get into anyone and hold my line! Hope that was the case?! one stop first race, one lap short! lol 2 stops 2nd race and almost did the exact same thing but made it.. The funny thing is I had no clue where I finished and when I asked my Motor City motor sports teammate @vsfit , he had no clue either.. Thats when you know you just had a blast!!! Thanks again!!! :sly:

Wow, I wont go into specifics however there is a tie for 10th place and was a heck of a tie breaker for who made the top 10

If we lose the team competition by 2 points Parcells will accept the blame; I gave up P4 before the very last turn of race 2 to GotDirt when in hindsight I’m sure I could have made my car a bit wider for one more turn. Not overly fond of Tsukuba but always seems to provide close battles which was the case last evening.

Btw, great job at the start of race 1 Brnt. Your plan to start off in reverse worked like a charm as the dummies around you couldn’t figure out the strategy but it worked beautiful for you in the end, way to go pardner!

Oh yeah, two can play at the game GGG…I won’t go into specifics either but suffice it to say next week’s race Parcells has a special surprise for everyone who makes the race. You’re gonna love this!!!

I want to recognize some great track and situational awareness in last nights race. late in the second race, @JoeW was in second place with about 8 mins to go. After noticing me gaining ground on him from third place and knowing that I had much fresher tires, instead of trying to hold me/us up, he found a great place to let me buy in a way that would not cost us any time and making it very clear what his intention was. This allowed him to maintain his third place finish. Had he tried to hold the position he would have to use up his tires and most likely would not only lose second place but several others in the closing laps.
