9 Spots available with 9 drivers on track. going to be an interesting KOQ.

Good luck KOQ contestants!

Current cut time is 1:42.327 with 12 drivers on track

Lobby is open to all confirmed participants

It's time to put the hammer down!

Apparently I didn't noticed there was a different time zone so I got in the room late.
This is very sad as I put a lot of effort preparing the race and its strategy to get a major kick in the butt but that was not what really bother me.
What bother me was the senseless, rude way that grim yelled for me to leave the room.
I don't need this bs. I'm out.

Hope the races went well tonight... sorry I couldn't be there to photograph them... but I was miserable with the new car around Fuji. I must have tried practicing 5 different times, and could rarely pull out a clean lap. And if I did, it was in the low 1:50's. I was sliding every which way. Out of almost every corner I was spinning out, even when I'd try to slowly accelerate... and if I came within a foot of a kerb, forget it, I was doing donuts. I'm gonna try practicing on Rome tomorrow... hopefully there's more grip there... if the same thing happens there and the other tracks, Ive got to bow out of the season...

I wasnt yelling, my cap lock got put on. I apologized for that before you left.

With this car you never wanna go over the kerbs if it's in 3rd gear or less. That right-hand kink going into the last few turns is about the only place it's safe to ride the kerb.

How many series have you rage quit? Just chill man and take it easy :)

Got to figure out this fast fuel flowing freeking fast...... Ran out both races with a lap to go. Well almost ran out, I pitted with a lap to go both races. Lost like 20 something positions. lol

Good racing with all.

Its frustrating putting so much effort and time into something that then not only doesn't happen as you're "invited" to get the hell out of the room printed in caps lock.
I handle a lot of crap but being mistreated is not one of them and you know that better than anyone in snail.
I have a very good stock racing group outside snail. I'll be fine.
I take it easy in real life. I don't play a game to take crap from anyone.

Its already been clearly stated that the cap locks were an error, and I know you saw ggg's explanation because he quoted your post.

He said sorry in the room as well, and frankly it was quite obvious he didn't mean to, as the caps started midway through a word. Accept the accident, accept the error you made not realizing the timezone which is posted on the title of this thread, and show up next Wednesday on time. We would love to have you.

And it's a proven factoid that GGG is notoriously mean, wicked and disrespectful to all the drivers in his series

C'mon dude, listen to yourself. If it was Bowler or Tcrash yelling at you for no good reason then you can safely assume its genuine...but GGG? Get a grip...

OK, You got me Grimm, I can’t quite figure it out. I could have sent this in a PM but I figure the children will enjoy watching two similar dingbats debate the meaning of words…you being self-described OCD while Parcells is just anal.

What does the “based on most recent results” mean?

I’ve pondered this quite a bit since viewing it last evening and can’t come to a satisfactory conclusion but I know you well enough that I’m doubtful this was an error/typo on your part…

[Parcells speculation] Surely he doesn’t mean most recent results based on one specific race or even one specific season as that would minimize overall participation so it must allude to each individuals accomplishments which is where the logic starts to fail Parcells. Does it mean “whichever one of the above classifications you most recently fit into, that will define your eligibility for the upcoming all star race.”? It’s the only thing that’s making any sense to Parcells but that doesn’t seem overly fair, if fair is a concern at all. Albeit it could represent (to some extent still many flaws with this logic) your most current driving abilities.

If that is the case let’s say after season 12 you’ve earned 6 overall season championships including winning season 11 but in race 4 of season 11 you finished in third place. By now we have enough all-star participants to make a full room…in fact, enough that a third place finish is no longer enough to gain entry into the all-star race. I can live by those rules but I got to say it doesn’t seem all that fair that a 6 time season champion isn’t allowed into an all-star race because he had an off-night in race 4 of season 12.

Or it means something entirely different that Parcells can’t put his finger on[/Parcells speculation]

Next thing I know you’ll be awarding double points for the final race of a season - J j/k – shot at dumb F1 rules.

[beyond Parcells normal sarcasm] If you’re angry with Parcells questioning your rules (never a good idea) and wish to use CAP Locks in your response to me go right ahead…this Canadian can handle it! [/beyond Parcells normal sarcasm]

Not likely you’ll have any interest in joining my room this evening but feel free to stop by for a quick run in the MR2 Spyder we’re running this evening, it should be a lot of fun. Of course that would have to be the early part of the evening as there’s that meaningful football game this evening that I’m positive you’ll be watching. I’ll be watching the second half for sure even though I already know the outcome…see below spoiler…Happy Thanksgiving!!!

No idea of the score but Kaepernick will be further exposed as a fraud and Seattle will have more points than San Fran when the fourth quarter ends.

12th in the Driver's Championship with 11 points to the leader's 33. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

Im sure I could have explained it better however if you look at the below, the most recent result only refers to the entries in each column and not the drivers most recent result. As an example, if you look at the second place column, those who have not won a Series, All Star Race, Team Championship or an Individual 1st place during the regular season are ranked with the most recent 2nd place finish among the four of them. In this situation, if anyone not listed above Jvick earns a 2nd place or better, then Jvick gets bumped to the Alternate List as his second place finish is the oldest of the other three drivers.

Additionally, if the All Star Race was to take place this week and 2 of the top 14 drivers did not confirm they plan to race then vovik05 and Fallen_log would be eligible to race as the first 2 alternates using the same requirements. Hope this helps explain it better.

As for racing tonight, I will have company over for Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks for the offer though

Didn't this season just get started:odd:? Grim, you really do need to work on your proofreading/editing a little.:mischievous:;):p

Good racing with all.
Last night was exactly what I try to accomplish with the car/track/tire compound/fuel settings. When doing my preseason testing, I look for combinations that will require the driver to plan accordingly on how they intend to attack the track with either a 1 or 2 pit stops.

Could maybe had a win if I put a fuel tank of gas lol damn I was so mad lol but good racing so one stop did work great racing guys.

I feel like if Tire Wear was set to Fast instead of Very Fast we would all have done a 1 stop race and it might get excited towards the end of the stints seeing who was better or worse on their tires but that's not nearly as exciting as overtaking people going into the pits because you did your math right on your first stop.

Second race I took just tires on my first stop. In and out as fast as possible. Second stop I was at almost empty and took 96 Liters. I should have taken a full 100 or 97 because I ran out of fuel coming out of the last turn ont he last lap and brntguy was able to get around me after battling for awhile.

Not to give away any secrets however the only tracks where taking on no fuel helps with a fast pit stop is those tracks that dont have the actual over the wall guys like Tsukuba. Other tracks, your better off taking at least 30 litters as that is approximately the same amount of time it takes to swap out tires. This would have lead you to taking only 70 litters in the second stop which would have been faster

I was thinking about how much fuel would take the same amount of time as the tires but I said screw it and went with 0 hoping I'd make up enough time on other drivers that it wouldn't matter latter on. Good to know it's 30 though. In GT5 it was around 12-15.

I've got some learning to do when it comes to this pit stop stuff! Those were the longest races for me so far in the sim world, the 20min ROC races being the longest before, I can just imagine what the endurance races must be like!
Hope I didn't get in the way too much last night!
