Not to give away any secrets however the only tracks where taking on no fuel helps with a fast pit stop is those tracks that dont have the actual over the wall guys like Tsukuba.

Well go figure. Parcells knew about the 30 liter rule but had no idea the pit crew had any affect. Explains some of the odd results I was getting while testing pit stops during S4.

I've got some learning to do when it comes to this pit stop stuff! Those were the longest races for me so far in the sim world, the 20min ROC races being the longest before, I can just imagine what the endurance races must be like!
Hope I didn't get in the way too much last night!

Although not true endurance race, these 40 min races are significantly different from those run on Sundays. Plenty of time to run your own race strategy and not be in a sprint race. Takes some getting used to but its rewarding when your strategy works out. That's why I run the mock races.

I ran about 50 laps tonight around Rome. Felt much stronger. Thought I'd share my findings...

My fast lap was 1:13.335
At an avg lap of 1:14.x, I can do about 8 laps every 10 minutes.
My tire degradation was rapid - front left first to go. At the end of a 10 minute run, I'd be down to about a 4 on that tire. My fuel consumption was ravenous too. I'm guessing a minimum of 2 stops.

Is that fast lap competitive?

Preseason Testing​

As I did during past seasons, I will be hosting testing sessions for the next season on Mondays @9:00pm Eastern doing a series of short practice sessions on various tracks that I will use to determine the voting options. This will also help in producing the upcoming season promo videos. All series drivers are welcome to attend these testing sessions.

Season 6 (Germany Cup) will feature the following cars:

Yeah I have trouble with that whole Windows Key + R, typing calc, hit enter, then typing some numbers and operators and hitting the enter too. Sometimes.

Think you're looking for a post count number ending in 11.

So I cant speak for everyone else however I was running low 1:12's with full fuel load and low 1:11's with light fuel load. Could shave a bit more time with some practice however that was with a clear track also. Fuel and the left front tire will be key. Just a heads up that I do brake early for turn 4 (90deg right hander) as the transition from brick to pavement is brutal if you brake late there.
