All i'm going to say is after tonight's race I will not be staying in the top 10. I'm not saying anything else.

@Fallen_log

Please don't stay in your pit stall if you choose to retire from the race. It puts whoever is in the stall behind you and in front of you at a disadvantage.

This scenario can happen during racing of course, but you being there for all their pit stops is just not fair, please just pull over somewhere safely off the track.

It slows your entry and exit on/off pit lane right?

Good to know for the future. If you plan to retire, just pull off track somewhere safe and out of range of any stray cars going off.

That was fun tonight, especially in race two with the time change!

Three sets of close finishes in Race 1.

@SGETI i know your working on those photos just don't forget our .002 finish
Always great racing guys :gtpflag:
I have reviewed the finish and its so close even the live timing was off. If you look at the photo finish in the replay, @Zii1993 did finish about a bumper length ahead of @SGETI for 5th place yet the results showed SGETI finishing 5th. Based on the photo finish, I will be awarding Zii with the 5th place finish.

Your kidding right? Lol that's nuts

I wonder what it would show on your replay? I would think the live timing would be the more accurate results

I'll check it in about an hour when I get home. Was the live timing switched for us like it sometimes does for first and second?

I must have watched the replay 10 times. Yes, Zii the photo shows you ahead. Even though I had a higher MPH the timer and replay are a little off.
Agree with your choice Grimm. Pictures almost done.

Yea my replay shows the same. You think it's maybe the full length of the car to pass the line in game?

Now I will be eagerly waiting for the official score keeping to see if i have to go thru KOQ next week. I had a horrific 1st race. Off track twice and had a heck of a time just trying to back on the track. Race 2 was better and some great close racing. Thanks again Grimm and the rest of you for a night of great racing.

Nice pics Aero.. Attn: @brntguy I was not trying to block you, I am struggling with the steering wheel.
And it wasn't fun for me yesterday either.. I'll be using the DS3 from now on.
Well I would hope your blocking technique would be better if you were actually trying to prevent me from getting around you. No the lines you were taking were making you very wide and hard to get around, and it's my place to make it around you cleanly. Very hard to do but great fun trying!

The .002 is confusing/interesting.

I've had two .000 finishes and it gave the higher finishing position to whomever was already in that position.

So on the replay, who is in what position according to each "on screen details"?

In the replay Zii shows crossing first. He was in front of me going down the straight. Timer stated i was .002 ahead but as you can clearly see Zii was in front and deserves the position.

Last night's races were some of the best I have seen for a while, seemed like both races, something intense was happening somewhere at all times.

I think the first was best, very intense battle at first in the front of the pack, then as I watched the replays to some late night chocolate milk, I saw many happening all around.

I did want to ask however, was there some mishaps that happened in second race that got people irritated? After the race, like half the room just left lobby without saying anything on the chat box. Just seemed bizzare as normally there is a bit more discussion or at least "byes" maybe it was just bedtime? :p

Everyone was totally cool from my perspective. Good racing and sportsmanship all around as far as I could see.
My issue was that it was only my 2nd race using a wheel, and the pucker factor for me was such that, well..
It was still puckered this morning.. Intense to the point where maybe a little less than enjoyable.

But that's my problem though.. 1st lap of R2 I had to pull over before the chicane so as to not get steamrolled.
It was fun for the most part though..

I was very disappointed in my own performance simply because I have been busy working and had not run a single lap at this track prior to the race. I was in a rush to make it into the room, was 2 secs off the pace, tried to do a 2 stop strategy to compliment my slowness and just fell flat all night. Crashed once in the 1st race and 4 times in race 2 (3 of which were in the first 2 laps). I watched the replay a bit to see that I was losing over a second in the 1st sector by trying to take turn 1/2 too tightly on the inside...and braking too early. I just wasn't hitting the apexes all night.

NOW I'm going to have to figure out how to make it in time for KOQ next week...not sure I'll be able to get on that early :(

Well to BIG surprise I had pole position. I ran 5 laps Tuesday night and figured a top ten in both races would be good enough. It was a very busy week for me and had no time for practice or GT6 for that matter. So to start on the pole. I was just surprised as anyone else. Just tried to get a good clean first lap in and Baaam. O well that will probably never happen again.
