Well I'll just let you guys know I am WAY off that into the 34s. So watch out...IF I can qualify tonight :)

Just don't forget about me and my crazy pit strategies I'm very good at. :mischievous:. Lol.

Fallen when's the race?

Qualifing this weekend and the race next weekend.
EDIT: I can PM you any times you would need to be available because it is not an all day affair for 1 driver. There is a whole team of drivers.

Tonight should be a good race. Great track with options tonight. Will be interesting to see how many show up for koq. With 5 spots up for grabs, it could be very tight.

:nervous:

Hopefully only four are there when I get there :)

It's gonna be real close if I can get in with enough time to run it low on gas to set a decent time.

Knock-Out Qualifying Club Lobby is now open

Five positions are up for grabs in tonight's Knock-Out Qualifying session. Top 5 lap times from tonight's Knock-Out qualifying will advance to the Main Event. Top 10 confirmed drivers, please do not enter the lobby until KOQ is complete at around 8:45 eastern. I will update the thread and lobby title once we are finished with qualifying.

As a reminder, prior to anyone joining the lobby (KOQ or Main), please clear your cache to help ensure quality connection.

I will not be running KOQ. I have been working on the GTP ES stuff with no time to practice this. Sorry guys, maybe next week.

KOQ Updated - 5 on track for 5 positions with 25 mins remaining

Race 1: Lots of fun battles the whole time. I enjoyed it and barely noticed my tires going it was so much fun.

Race 2: Ruined on Lap 1.

Fun night over way too fast.

Penguin - I have told you now three times now to not go off in in the chat during a race. You have also been asked to not air these issues in the thread (even though you have since edited it out). There is a system in place that everyone should follow if there is an incident on the track and since you dont seem to understand this requirement, Im parking your car in the RCS for one week.

The IR Submission will be done as soon as I get the replay for Race 2.

Let's talk about the first race. That was a lot of fun. Did anybody one-stop?

A couple did but not sure yet who they were or the results yet

I know... I get hot-headed way too fast.

Week 3 replays have been uploaded to the SNAIL Race Car Series open drive.

Notwithstanding peripheral drama, I thought it was an awesome night racing. Great battles all through both races, and not just me; it was cool to see the action ahead of me, which often allowed me to catch up to them.

I screwed myself in the first race, filling the tank up on my first pit stop instead of breaking it over to my second stop. It was quite disheartening to see all the folks I had just worked so hard to pass go slinking by. Still ended up finishing well but mostly through stolen places (maybe 2-3 ran out of gas at the end of race 1?). Around lap 20 it started to click for me, and I ended up getting close to 1:31 dead (more than 2 seconds faster than my previous best time).

Race 2 was much better for me; I had confidence in my pace. I was originally planning to 2-stop it but on a whim I went one more lap when cape and someone else right ahead of the both of us ducked in for their 1st stop. I ended up getting into a groove where I could keep the tires semi-useable to the end of a 1-stopper and went for it. I ended up finishing far better than I had expected and now I'm dwelling on the off I had on the wide sweeper which let at least four past me, wondering if I didn't do that if I could have gotten a podium. But I know things wouldn't have shaken out the way they did otherwise, which almost certainly means I would not have tried to 1-stop it. Hope this helps?
