Some of you will remember the Oval Racing Series that I hosted with a huge assist from OwensRacing. It was put on hold because we got tired of running the same four tracks over and over.

The series is returning this weekend with a one off event to be held at Motegi Superspeedway. Check out this link and post there if you would like to run this event. Remember, it's an oval and I'm not revealing the car (mainly because I haven't decided yet) until just before the racing starts.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask in either thread and I will get you an answer. Also remember, it's an off week for SNAIL Sunday due to the holiday weekend and this is just meant to be a fun event open to all.

Since this is an "OFF" week is the season over? Or will it carry into next month as far as points standings and such?

Choose one car from each drivetrain (FF, FR, 4WD, MR/RR) and all cars must be between 404pp and 446pp on sports hard tires.

Sometimes I drink a lot so it's nice to keep the cost down once in a while. I enjoy beers from that same section of the store. You have to remember, I keep two kegs on tap at my house at all times.

My wife made me get rid of two of my 3 dedicated beer fridges. At one point I had about 7 varieties on draft (usually 5 gallon kegs). Now I'm down to 1 fridge, and only 1 keg plus bottles. Dropped about... almost 60 pounds... when I got rid of the extra beer.

Rice as a major ingredient? meh.

I'm a Reinheitsgebot guy - but I can appreciate some of the creative additives in the big, hoppy, Northwest stuff, or the deliciously crazy Belgians. A good wit, or a CAMRA style English ale are my main 'go-to' choices for summer.

I have, and enjoy, my vices, but nothing as interesting as all the varieties of beer (never quite got that acquired taste). My vices fall more into the categories of banks, international transportation, foreign intelligence agencies, corporate databases, the King's taxes, the Sheriff's men, and what I can get away with using my license to kill (JUST JOKING!!!). Clean it, take it apart and blow it out if you have to. Otherwise I don't know.

Yeah, right before I got my G27 my DFGT was acting up... doing all sorts of weird things like acting like the throttle was still pressed at 10%, not fully braking, etc...

When I got the G27, I decided to take the DFGT apart to figure out what was up and I was amazed (disgusted) with how much crap had gotten in there... and the springs and little plastic gears are very small so it didn't take much to gum up the works. After cleaning it out (and figuring out how all the pieces fit back together) it worked like new.

Just another idea, I usually always find that my anomalies with the steering and pedals boils down to a loose connection. Even if it looks like connections are fully seated, unplugging and replugging always seem to resolve all problems I've had so far.
