Can someone please post the lap times for the new combos (when the last one is finalized....) and also the Post Oil HP (horsepower) for the Audi? I can't do it myself - not home tonight, and I can't access Google Docs with IE8 to verify the car stats from an alternative source with this computer.

mucho apreciado! très appréciée! moi apreciado! hoogs waardeerd! sehr geschätzt! muito apreciado! baziswa kakhulu! 非常感激!

Being I'll miss tomorrow night's festivities, I'll be looking for some practice tomorrow afternoon starting around 12:30. I'll have a room up so join if you can.

Yea I picked the Phoenix'12 R8 because it has alot more downforce then the base model version. Hopefully this way we'll have less spin outs on this tight circuit
She's quite a handful, especially taking the sharp turn up the hill...

Currently about a 70% fail rate up that hill for me. lol need the Quattro right there. Love the challenge however frustrating that may be.
I think for the first kink you can stay in 4th but 3rd is usable as you let off the gas and coast down a little bit. Then hard but not full braking into the tighter turn, KEEP IT IN 3RD!! Otherwise the car will want to rotate around itself. This can be corrected by very steady throttle control and turning the wheel to an angle much smaller than you'd expect.

I've done it this way but you have to always remind yourself not to turn in so much and you don't gain that much momentum over someone that stayed in 3rd. They won't have the kick of higher RPM but will be steady in their movements. Overall I say 3rd gear is safer.

If you get the exit of corner 2 right, you can get up to 5th gear before braking.

It's like a whole meal wrapped in a candy bar. :yuck:

So right now we have 14 votes for Rome and 7 votes for silverstone

I really hope to NOT see those "Romans" on the IR sheet for contact related shenanigans...

And on that bombshell...

Celebrated my 20th anniversary yesterday and completed 10 reviews this week. Now off to take her to dinner and a movie.

Nice. I celebrated my 9th anniversary yesterday. Took her to breakfast but did not get any reviews done. I did umpire three softball games though.
