Lets go Blue Jay lets go OH OH!
Lets go Blue Jay lets go OH OH!
not playing them, but if the jays get the rest ironed out it's jays all the way!I have fam in Illinois, so I'm rooting Cubs all the way.
Ehhh, nevermind. There is a PP difference 607 vs 596 as the amount of down force differs.
She's quite a handful, especially taking the sharp turn up the hill...Yea I picked the Phoenix'12 R8 because it has alot more downforce then the base model version. Hopefully this way we'll have less spin outs on this tight circuit
Hurrah jays win!
Currently about a 70% fail rate up that hill for me. lol need the Quattro right there. Love the challenge however frustrating that may be.She's quite a handful, especially taking the sharp turn up the hill...
yeah jays in 4 loland they'll be in kansas city tomorrow night!! we've had our struggles with them jays before, bound to be a good game

I think for the first kink you can stay in 4th but 3rd is usable as you let off the gas and coast down a little bit. Then hard but not full braking into the tighter turn, KEEP IT IN 3RD!! Otherwise the car will want to rotate around itself. This can be corrected by very steady throttle control and turning the wheel to an angle much smaller than you'd expect.Currently about a 70% fail rate up that hill for me. lol need the Quattro right there. If you get the exit of corner 2 right, you can get up to 5th gear before braking.I think for the first kink you can stay in 4th but 3rd is usable as you let off the gas and coast down a little bit. I've done it this way but you have to always remind yourself not to turn in so much and you don't gain that much momentum over someone that stayed in 3rd. They won't have the kick of higher RPM but will be steady in their movements. Overall I say 3rd gear is safer.
Audi: D1 guys are around 2:02-2:03, I think 2:08 is reasonable for a mid pack time considering how much time you can lose on the mountainLap times... I need lap times... otherwise I will guess...
Audi 2:11 ?
G37 1:08 ? 1:07 ?
which would mean 10 laps is almost perfectly 12 minutes.I was around 2:10 in D4 so wow I guess I never really got a really good lap.
G37 at Rome is around 1:12
So... 9 laps. (count start, racing, etc...)which would mean 10 laps is almost perfectly 12 minutes.

So 5 laps
I eventually got my time down to the 2:08's.... not easy
So right now we have 14 votes for Rome and 7 votes for silverstone

I really hope to NOT see those "Romans" on the IR sheet for contact related shenanigans...
And on that bombshell...
Celebrated my 20th anniversary yesterday and completed 10 reviews this week. Now off to take her to dinner and a movie.
