That’s the off season exhibition. I won the official Nations cup championship. So I qualify for Las Vegas and Germany. The FIA now is basically just for fun until the next official Season starts again in a few months
Congratulations and thanks for the 200,000 credits yesterday.

Not only did he win 5 of 6 races. The race he lost, he threw away a 19 second lead, built another 6 second lead in a lap and then threw that away and still finished 0.01 seconds behind me for second. If the finish line was 50’ further he would have got me. It’s like Tiger Woods in his prime. It’s him vs the field and my money would be on him week to week. The rest of us in D2 will have to really step it up to challenge him this season.

That sort of race ending is commonly reffered to by friends as a classic "Grove Finale"

I knew combo 3 would likely be gone, & I was more concerned with achieving a 1:40.xxx than winning.

Always entertaining, as my youtube video descriptions say.

I've raced with Mike and I don't understand why he was relegated from D1 to D2. I've been trying to find what the rules are regarding relegation/promotion but have been unsuccessful. Does anyone know?

I belive relegation/promotion is soley points based, for the season totals. D1 July Season, I had one very sloppy result and paid the price for not warming up or practicing whatsoever.

Scored just 45 points, because I always push very hard & try to use my pace.
That night my 9/10ths pushing led to going off multiple times, in combos I was not ready to go so fast on. (Started off that night with a "no practice" pole position, with the renault trophy GR.4)

The one night was the only bad score, but between the 3 scores I had, the total must have been close enough to bottom for the relegation to be considered.

Hello Gentlemen. Since now the FIA Season is over, I would like to join SNAIL. Always had fun with you guys.

January 2016 was the last time you raced. Welcome back and congrats on FIA. Now all we need is AcidTestKids and msgt-sd to complete the trifecta.

With a $100 reward for each division winner, we've had a few drivers team up to increase their chances of winning (if anyone on their team wins, they all win a portion):

Team OMG - @stelephant, @vsfit, and @TEX36
HTM - @THRASH and @Herimopp89
Fallopian Swim Team - @Neutty and @Jw_wk1010
If you'd like to be eligible for the season championship (and the $100), you have until tonight's race to sign-up.

& dont forget @gtr3123 if you want D1 Nostalgia.

I am really glad to see all of our combined streaming, & promotion with the race greeting messages is helping to spead the good word of the best league in GT Sport.

New members will not be disappointed with the quality of the actual racing & the organization. SNAIL is 2nd to none.

1st Annual SNAIL Fantasy Football league kicks off tonight. Draft tonight is at 8:30PM EST

I would throw DGAF in there as well (I forget what he changed his name to)

How does the game handle a jumped start with penalties turned off? I'll bet it's in a way that would just cause more issues.

Could this be a part of the ir system??

I'm just speculating and did no testing what so ever...I would be willing to try it out though

Good luck to all our mid-eastcoast Snails. As a South Louisianian I urge you to leave if you're instructed to and be safe. If you can't leave, stock up on supplies, board the windows, hunker down and be safe. Mother Nature can be a B and I wish the absolute best for all of you.

Thanks Sensi!

With penalties off the game automatically gives you a penalty and requires you to serve it right away. It's basically forcing you to coast until the penalty is gone, penalty may scale with how much you jumped by.

@N38824r
Here's your official SNAIL Welcome Post!
Thanks for your interest!
Here's what you need to know (and do) in order to join SNAIL Racing League:

We run a clean league by enforcing a strict penalty system based on the SNAIL OLR (which is a modified version of the GTP OLR). We also expect all of our drivers to know and follow The Good Racecraft Guide. Please become versed in both if you aren't already. Once that is complete, please follow the steps below to complete your entry into the league:

1. You start a conversation and add @CoachMK21, @JLBowler, @nmcp1,@zer05ive ,@Rednose58,@MajorBlixem & @SAMHAIN85 as participants.

The conversation title should be "Request To Join".

2. SNAIL Administrators will respond with specific instructions on what you need to accomplish to join the SNAIL [Spec] Racing.

3. Place the following links (URLs) in the favorites (or bookmarks) in your web browser for quick reference. Please make every effort to read and understand the following links. Over the years a great deal of time and effort has gone into creating this league and we would like nothing more than to have you but we ask that you take the time and effort to do your homework. 99.9% of any question you may have about SNAIL can be found in the posts below.
4. You drive fast and clean on Sunday 👍

Again, the original post has everything you need to know about what to expect on Sunday night and what you will need to have completed in order to be competitive. If you have any questions, please feel free to post your question on the thread. If you have a preference for car/wheel colour and racing number, please follow the instruction contained here.

During the week we run a number of different events, we encourage all SNAILs to join as many as possible.
Welcome to SNAIL
Thank you for all of the information and looking forward to racing and thank you
