Here's my contribution to the car show:

On June 22, 1978, astronomer James Christy identified Charon, the largest moon of Pluto. My choice of location is The Wave, about 200 km north of the observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona where the discovery was made. While the moon is named after the mythological ferryman of the dead, it also echoes Christy’s wife, Charlene, nicknamed “Char”. It’s presence helped support Pluto’s reclassification as a dwarf planet in 2006.

It’s back…….”Cocktails n Combos”
Tee and I will be running Saturday night “cocktails n combos” Saturday evenings, featuring our favourite cocktails and running Sunday night combos!
Tonight’s Cocktail for us will be Dubs favourite craft beer from a local brewery in Saskatchewan.

This local beer is a terrific ale for a Hazy Saturday afternoon. “CAUTION* American friends this beer has much less water and more alcohol than your used too, enjoy with extreme caution* ⚠️
🤣🤣🤣

This is great news. I always enjoyed your cocktails and combos session. I should be around to hop on a bit. Got an estimated time?

I will be joined by my favorite local IPA Sinister Minister which weights in at 7% alc./vol. (Not quite the hefty 8.2% @DublDee will be pounding)

I think you and I would get along quite well @DublDee

Actually, I might walk to the brewery right now with my dogs….

I agree, I think we might need to plan a trip East next summer in the Jeep. There’s a few vineyards/wineries we have on our target out your way!

I'm sorry I had to leave after the third race last night, but my sciatica was killing me.

Edit: It's still killing me!

I hate this time of year in florida - thunder and lightening almost every night - had multiple bad storms go through and the power kept flickering enough to shut down wifi and PS - I may have to get a ups for wifi and ine for ps and tv

I ended up putting two in the living room. One for the TV and PS5, then one for the modem, phone, and router. Everything continues running, so long as the power isn't out long enough to drain the batteries.

I been considering it - What size UPS are you using for the Tv and PS? The smaller ones are reasonably priced but the 1500 plus go for around $600

$600?? I'm running an older 1000VA/600W for the TV and PS5 which would hold me well over a few minutes under load. You can get those for about $180, and even cheaper sometimes on sale.

They do have a 1000w version if you want more power for over $200.
